Accutipster Daily Tips: 9th April

Tonight is a big night for two Champions League sides! Two will go through, two will leave the competition, and strangely, we really fancy the underdogs! Man Utd and At Madrid are playing very recent finalists in Bayern Munich and Barcelona, and are both level going into this leg. Man Utd need to score, as Bayern have the away goal, but At Madrid have the away goal, and a 0-0 draw will see them progress. Here are our Tips tonight:

  1. Man Utd +1/At Madrid +1 (Handicap) – 4/1
  2. Under 2.5 Goals (In Both Games) – 3.5/1
  3. Man Utd/At Madrid (To Qualify) – 10/1
  4. Plzen/Willem II – 2.6/1

Obviously everyone will be backing the favourites, but David Moyes has begun to find his feet – even the 1-1 draw last week was a feat in itself. Bayern will miss Dante and Schweinsteiger through suspension – but the key could well be Wayne Rooney, who is struggling with a toe injury. If Rooney plays, United stand a good chance. Bayern were rattled last week, Danny Welbeck was unlucky to have a goal chalked off. First goal is all important, but the way the game is poised, not a killer. If Bayern score 2, that could be it, as Man Utd would need to win outright, so three goals without reply.

Bar those two games, not a lot else on tonight – Plzen/Willem is a good little double in our only non-CL Tip for the day.

Best of luck
