Accutipster Weekend Review – 23rd-26th August

This weekend of cracking games showed why it is the game we love! For us Tipsters and Analysts – a nightmare however. Although our negative statistics hit rate was over 70% again, the positive stats side of things showed what an unpredictable business we are in!

It was saved though by a brilliant 18/1 seven fold winner – It was a nervous wait, Slovan Liberec laboured to a 1-0 win over Bohemians in the Czech Gambrinus Liga, and if you wins on Sunday for Anderlecht and Feyenoord and Saturday wins for Plzen, Fenerbache, Ried and Leyton Orient it saved what was a poor weekend thanks to some shock results, such as AC Milan losing to Verona, Man City losing to Cardiff and PSV drawing to Heracles – which ruined a 9/1 six fold!

Positives to come from the weekend apart from the nice win were a lot of good value picks, such as Ried at 17/20 vs Sturm Graz, Leyton Orient 8/11 vs Crewe and Juventus 1/2 vs Sampdoria on the negative odds side and games such as Fleetwood at 13/10, Cheltenham 7/5, Estoril 5/4 and Marseille 13/10.

Here are the statistics results:

Negative: Won 42 (74%), Drawn 9 (16%), Lost 6 (10%)

Positive: Won 17 (33.3%), Drawn 16 (32.3%), Lost 18 (35.3%)

Slightly disappointing in comparison with the previous three weeks, but our average for the negative statistics remains over 70% win ratio – 3 in 4 games we pick in that category win – an impressive feat. The tips are slowly getting there, with another five being one game off – taking it to 16 selections being that close in the first four weeks of our tipping this season. Here are the results from our tips:
