Accutipster's World Cup Tips – Day 2

Morning all! After a slightly contentious opening game, where Brazil had the ‘Homer’ of all ‘Homers’ in the Japanese referee that gave them everything, including the softest of penalties – we come to the 2nd day and three terrific games. We kick off with the first game, Mexico vs Cameroon

Mexico vs Cameroon

This could be a close game, with just a goal between the two. Both have terrific players – Cameroon have the likes of Nicolas N’Koulou, Vincent Aboubaker and Samuel Eto’o. On the other hand, Mexico have some top players of their own in Oribe Peralta, Andres Guardado and Gio Dos Santos. Either way we think there will be goals in this one, BTTS is at a great price of 6/5, Over 2.5 Goals is currently 13/8 and a personal favourite, but slightly longer odds – Peralta anytime and Mexico win @ 7/2.

Top Tip – BTTS @ 6/5

Spain vs Holland

This is a repeat of the last World Cup final, where there were a record amount of yellows and reds in a final. We also seen Nigel De Jong kick Xabi Alonso in the chest. This time around we think Spain will triumph with ease – Holland’s back four does not look very good on paper – with no standout players like a Jaap Stam. With RVP, Robben and maybe Memphis Depay playing in a front three, it should be an entertaining game but we fancy Spain to Win to Nil @ 6/4. Diego Costa should make his debut – him to score anytime and Spain to win is 5/2, but our favourite is Spain Race to 2 Goals @ 11/8.

Top Tip – Spain Race to 2 Goals @ 11/8

Chile vs Australia

This could be a very one sided game. Australia have a very average squad with the retirement of many of their most experienced players. Tim Cahill is the only really experienced player they have. Their keeper has been impressive for Brugge this season but he will have his work cut out to keep the likes of Sanchez and Vargas out. Vargas Anytime and Chile win is currently 15/8. A few other favourites of ours are Chile -1 handicap @ 6/5, Win Both Halves @ 21/10 and Score Both Halves @ 11/8. We see this going only one way, and that is a sizeable Chile win. To stand a chance of qualifying this is the game they must win!

Top Tip – Chile -1 @ 6/5

Treble of the Day – Chile -1/Mex-Cam BTTS/Spain Race to 2 Goals – 10.2/1

James should be about soon with our price boosts from William Hill, so until then, have a great day, and we look forward to the first game at 5pm tonight! We will be on Twitter and Facebook with all the updates.
