BTTS Tips // Saturday

Morning all

Started doing regular BTTS tips on a weekend now, and had a nice 8.5/1 winner last weekend which was rather Serie A dominated. This weekend I have selected 8 games for today that I feel represent not only good value, but statistically very likely too. Here’s my view:

1. Augsburg-Leverkusen @ 4/6

In 4 of the previous 5 games between the two, both have scored. In those four Leverkusen have also won – so Leverkusen + BTTS might have been a good shout. This is the battle between 5th and 6th – should be a very good game and at least 3 goals.

2. Freiburg-Hoffenheim @ 8/15

Probably the most likely of our picks – BTTS has occurred in 5 of the last 5 meetings between these two, hence the price.

3. Caen-Lens @ 5/6

These are two promoted sides from last season – and contrasting in form recently too. Caen are very good at home, whereas Lens are awful away – however are picking up the odd point and have drawn 2 games 3-3 recently. Caen have been scoring a few too – 2 goals in 2 minutes against PSG last weekend. Previous game ended 0-0, but the one before was 4-2.

4. Deportivo-Celta Vigo @ Evens

4 of these two’s past 5 meetings have been BTTS. Celta are in good form having beaten a very handy At Madrid team (sort of…Champions League finalists), but struggle away from home. Deportivo on the other hand are in decent form at home.

5. Sturm Graz-Neustadt @ 5/6

Usually a very high scoring game – 17 goals in the last 5 meetings, and the last one was 0-0. 4 of the last 5 meets have ended BTTS and @ 5/6 this is really good value!

6. Sunderland-WBA @ Evens

Another fantastic piece of value. Neither of these two’s defending is a strong point, with there being 18 goals in the last 5 games overall, and 21 in the last 5 at the Stadium of Light. BTTS has occurred 3/5 times overall and 3/5 at the SOL. Neither side can defend for toffee! (watch this be a 0-0 now…)

7. N Forest-Bolton @ 4/6

Potentially the value of the weekend! 22 goals in Notts Forest’s last 5 games in all comps. 23 for Bolton. Same as above, neither can defend for toffee. BTTS record reads 4 out of 5 in recent games.

8. Watford-Norwich @ 8/13

Both of these sides average 2 goals a game, and concede 1 goal a game (if you round up/down a smudge). At Vicarage Road BTTS has landed in the last 5 meetings.

All 8 in an Accumulator pays 92/1 – which could be worth a quid or two – but for me this 9/1 4 fold is very good value:

1. Freiburg-Hoffenheim/N Forest-Bolton/Sunderland-WBA/Sturm Graz-Neustadt @ 9/1

All have a great record of BTTS recently – with a tonne of goals between them.

Best of luck
