Football Tips // 08.10.16 // Domestic Leagues

With International football the main games on at the moment, and a good deal of people having little to no interest in it, the Football League provides a betting opportunity for those who are bored of it all, just one day into it!

Myself and Kieron have picked out two games each for Saturday:

Bradford vs Shrewsbury: Bradford Clean Sheet @ 11/10 (League One, 1500 KO)

Bradford hold the best defence in the league by some way having only conceded seven goals in their opening 11 matches. They face off against third from bottom Shrewsbury, who have only won on two occasion and have failed to score in three matches.

Scunthorpe v Northampton – BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 13/10 (League One, 1500 KO)

Scunthorpe are top of the league having won seven of their 11 matches, having scored 26 goals and conceded 11. Northampton have scored a considerable 18 goals, and have been involved in seven league matches where both teams have scored. Scunthorpe themselves have also had seven of their 11 matches finish BTTS.

Stevenage vs Plymouth: Plymouth Win @ 6/5 (League Two, 1500 KO)

Plymouth really look like going up this time – 8 wins in their first 11 games, conceding only 8 goals all season. They have won four of their five away games, losing the first to Carlisle but since then multiple wins to nil. Stevenage are 20th, and look pretty awful in comparison. Conceding at least 1.5 goals per game on average – against a lean Plymouth, they might not get many chances!

Morecambe vs Carlisle: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 20/21 (League Two, 1500 KO)

A meet of two differing sides – Carlisle in the top 6, in good form and scoring freely, against Morecambe, who started so well but have fallen away in recent weeks. Away from home, Carlisle have conceded 8 in their last 3 games, while Morecambe have had BTTS + Over 2.5 goals in their last 9 games straight!

A touch under 1/1, but great value all the same!

Accumulator: 20/1

Double: Plymouth Win @ 6/5 + Bradford Clean Sheet @ 11/10 = 3.7/1
