Hi all

Apologies for the later post that usual. I have been busy formulating a guaranteed profit bet for the ‘Bet365 Risk Free In-Play Offer’ and after a couple of failed attempts, thanks to Bet365 saying they would do a bet in-play but not guaranteeing it!

I have also done a Preview for the next two day’s of Champions League action.

For today, I’m going with a couple of bets picked out from the Champions League preview, since a lot of the lower league action is prone to the weather, and with no under-soil heating at most of the games I’m not spending my afternoon waiting for abandonments!

If you have Bet365 and William Hill accounts, I know for sure you will be able to get both, while the Booking bet is definitely on WH and B365:

PSG vs Chelsea: Over 5.5 Cards @ 6/5 (Bet365) or Over 55 Booking Points @ 17/10 (William Hill)

I really think this will be a tetchy game, with last season’s meet having 4 and 8 cards respectively. Mourinho’s bland style of football has been replaced by Hiddink’s vastly similar style. They may have beaten Newcastle 5-1, but that was more of the NUFC being awful than Chelsea being good. Both teams have players who are likely to be booked, with diving and heavy tackling likely to come out. When you have Costa on the pitch you are looking at 1 card, David Luiz – 2…Then you have the likes of Matic and Cahill, with Terry being out, Ivanovic is slow and could be caught short by the likes of Di Maria or Lucas. Willian dives, as does Hazard. You’ve got a potential of about 6 just there!

The arrogance and petulance of Ibra could bring a card, as he was sent off last time. Lucas is occasionally caught diving, as has Di Maria. Verratti and Matuidi are tough tackling, as is Chelsea’s Matic. I could go on! One tackle could spark this sort of bet. It’s risky, but I like it!

Benfica vs Zenit: Over 9.5 Corners @ 1/1 (Bet365)

I cannot find anything similar on William Hill. Their markets are ‘Under 10′, ’10-12′ or ’12 or more’ – while I think Benfica will get more I’m not comfortable backing any of their handicap options. Both often dominate games, but are so comfortable that they don’t need to push that hard. This one should be very close throughout, and see some end-to-end football. For that reason, I think there will be plenty of corners.

If you can’t get either – I like PSG to win @ 8/11 and Benfica-Zenit Over 2.5 Goals @ 5/4 in a 3/1 double.

Otherwise you are looking at a 3.5/1-4/1 double with my preferred two bets.

Best of luck
