Football Tips // 17.04.16

With Saturday yielding little other than a rubbish Swansea performance and Trencin losing for the first time in 10 games…easy to say it was not a great one.

Today – we are combining two tips each from Will and Sam for a European/South American four-fold of selections:

South America:

Portuguesa vs Urena Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/5 (Venezuelan Primera, 2030 KO) – NAP

This looks a steal at 6/5. In Portuguesa’s first 7 home matches, 5 of them have seen over 2.5! They have only scored 7 themselves in that time but have conceded 11, so they are definitely a bit shaky at the back. Their last 5 home matches read, 1-2, 1-2, 0-3, 0-0, 2-1.

Urena seem to be goal experts, away from home 6 of their 7 games have had over 2.5! With an average of 3.7 goals per match, they certainly don’t disappoint. In those 7 away matches they have scored 12 and conceded 14 which is pretty huge if you ask me! Their last 5 away matches read an incredible, 4-3, 2-1, 1-1, 3-1, 2-1.

6/5 looks too good to be true but tonight I think it’s a shoe-in, as both will be going for a much needed win!

Defensor La Bocana vs A. Lima Over 2.5 Goals @ 4/5 (Peruvian Primera, 2200 KO)

Where do I start with the home team.. Bocana have scored a ridiculous 20 goals and conceded a ridiculous 20 goals in just 10 games. In their first 5 home matches they have scored a very respectable 14 goals and conceded 7, they have only failed to score less than 2 goals twice in their last 15 home games which is crazy! their last 5 home games read, 1-1, 3-3, 1-2, 4-1, 5-0. Just to seal the deal they’ve had 9/10 over 2.5’s this season!

A. Lima aren’t bad for goals themselves, having played 1 game less than most (9) they have netted 16 goals and conceded 12 in that time.
Their games are averaging 3.1 goals with 6/9 going over 2.5, their last 5 away games read, 2-1, 1-2, 0-3, 1-0, 1-1. There’s not a lot more I need to say as the stats back this up pretty damn well! I personally think over 3.5 @ 2/1 is a very good shout, especially if your doing it as a single. This could be anything!

Sevilla vs Deportivo: Sevilla -1 Goal Handicap @ 11/8 (Spanish La Liga, 1500 KO)

Sevilla, despite losing 2 in a row at home – are amazing when playing at home. Before those 2 games, a 17 game win streak. Today, they face a rather poor Deportivo side who have a pretty drab away record and have lost the last two away matches at Sevilla 3-1 and 4-1.

For Sevilla, the Europa League is out the way for a couple of weeks so attention turns back to their faltering league campaign. Their home form maybe good, but away they have only won maybe once all season. As mentioned, at home – excellent. Deportivo have lost 3 of their last 5 away, and quite heavily. With the likes of Konoplyanka and Gameiro upfront, I can see them causing the away team all sorts of issues and in the end I think it could be a similar scoreline to the previous two.

Naestved vs Lyngby: Lyngby Win @ 4/5 (Danish Bet25 Liga, 1245 KO)

This was in Will’s 20/1 6 fold accumulator this weekend – and remains a solid pick. The home side are really struggling, and despite Lyngby’s away form being a little inconsistent – a win is the only thing that on the cards. 6 wins in 11 for the away side, while the home side have 6 losses in 11 – and 3 in the last four, conceding 3 goals in each!

Together this pays 16/1, while the preferred double between them is Portuguesa vs Urena Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/5 and Sevilla -1 Goal Handicap @ 11/8 – which pays over 4/1.

Best of luck
