Football Tips // 22.04.16

With Thursday looking bleak in terms of football on offer and any decent value bets – we all gave it a miss. I don’t see the point in tipping for the sake of it. Things like AC Milan -1, or Arsenal -4 Corners were tempting but I wasn’t sure enough of either. 4 winners in 6 tips so far this week, with 3/1 and 4/1 doubles landing on Monday and Wednesday

Today – a double again:

NAC Breda vs Almere City: NAC Win + BTTS @ 11/8 (Dutch Erste, 1900 KO)

NAC have been terrific at home all season – scoring 46 in 17 games, and conceded just 15 – winning 11/17. They are in 3rd spot and set for a playoff place. On the other hand you have Almere City, who have won 6 of their last 7 away games – all be it against some very average opposition. They are just outside the playoffs, but have conceded 38 in 17 away (and scored 33 to be fair). They will go into this one with great confidence despite their 10/1 tag to win. The last time they played a team as good as Breda, they lost 4-0 to VVV, so I still think they will lose but they should score on current form.

NAC, even with the form of the away side – should win this. Win + Over 3.5 is currently 11/8, but with all things considered I think Win + BTTS is a better option at the same price.

Mlada Boleslav vs Sigma Olomouc: Mlada Boleslav HT-FT @ 1/1 (Czech Synot Liga, 1915 KO) – NAP

This is a battle of two teams facing different futures. M Boleslav have 5 games to catch Sparta Prague and attempt to get a Champions League spot – and with their home form being so good – 3 points against a poor Sigma Olomouc side should happen. In their 12 home games, 36 goals scored and 9 wins, 2 draws and a loss. In the HT-FT market, they have been ahead at HT 5 times in their 9 wins, while drawing in the other four. It will be a case of weather they can break them down early enough, but like with the Basel game the other night I think they will get ahead and stay ahead.

Olomouc, away from home are shocking. 8 losses in 12, and just 7 goals scored – with 23 conceded. They are 2nd bottom and 3 points off the nearest team so the pressure is on. In the HT-FT form – this would have landed in 5 of their 8 losses. They seem to start badly and not recover, and against a side as strong as Mlada Boleslav – this trend should continue!

This as a double pays around 3.6/1.

Best of luck
