After a couple of very quiet days, today looks a lot better value wise! International friendlies for me are a no-no, as you have no idea which teams are going to rest what players, or try out newer ones. There are a lot of changes, and with no real meaning to the result, they are often meaningless. So long story short, avoiding with a barge-pole!
Back to today’s football – two in Germany and one in Italy:
Mantova vs Cittadella: Cittadella Win @ 4/5 (Italian Lega Pro Group A, 1700 KO)
Pretty much the best team in the league against one of the worst at home.
Mantova have lost 7 of their 13 home games, the 2nd worst in the league. On the other hand, Cittadella have won 9/13 away games, including their last 7 in a row! The Asian handicap is tempting, but the away side today have won 5 of those 7 in a row by one goal, so for me the 4/5 on the win is a better bet than 7/5 on the Asian handicap as it is very likely to be voided.
Wattenscheid vs Ahlen: Over 2.5 Goals @ 20/21 (German Regionalliga West, 1830 KO)
These two are among the top scorers in the league, and therefore both have good records for this market.
Wattenscheid have had 18 over 2.5’s in their 26 games, with 10/13 at home. Ahlen have a total of 13/24, with 5/11 away.
The last three meets have ended 5-3, 3-0 and 3-3. Very decent price!
Velbert vs Viktoria Koln: Koln -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 23/20 (German Regionalliga West, 1830 KO)
Velbert are in poor form, losing 4 of their last 5 overall and around half of their home games in general. Koln on the other hand have a handy away record – the 3rd best in the league! In two of the three recent meetings, Koln have blown them away, winning 5-1 and 4-0
There isn’t really much more to add to this one – other than Koln, on their day – can blow teams out of the water. @ 4/6 for the win, and the reputation they have – I’d think the -1 Asian Handicap is a great bonus price @ 23/20!
As a treble it pays around the 7/1 mark, with my preferred duo being the top two @ 2.5/1.
Best of luck
