Football Tips // 24.07.16

With Salzburg losing 3-1, and St Gallen failing to score – both accumulators, low and medium risk – are down. No excuses – the first few weeks/games of a season are tough as you’re not sure exactly what to expect, and like Salzburg, the occasional shocker is likely.

2/3 on the medium risk so far, and 1/3 on the other. Today is all about a high risk, big priced bet. The last of our three new categories of tips. Obviously with it being a massive price, the expectancy is a lot lower than the other two – but we’ve hit a 200/1 6 fold before, and come a goal off 600/1 and 325/1 bets in the last season – so if all goes right, it should be interesting!

Today’s offering is a 362/1 four fold, with all games being Win + BTTS. The earliest is an 11am kick off, so I have tried to get this up as early as possible, and given I only finished work at 6am – this isn’t too bad for a 7am post time.

A small plug here for our Fantasy Football leagues – we are running two this season – an Official Premier League one, which we have run for 3 years now, and a Dream Team one – which is new for us this season – there is no auto-join link like the other, but enter the code GK4J6C2D and you will be entered. Both have a £50 top prize which is paid out at the end of the season once the winner has contacted us!

Horsens vs Sonderjyske: Sonderjyske Win + BTTS @ 4/1 (Danish Superliga, 1100 KO)

Sonderjyske have won the last four meetings with scores of 2-1, 3-2, 4-2 and 3-1. That’s a nice start!

They are out of the Europa League – so no games on Thursday to distract. They are a high scoring team who on occasions have issues at the back. They lost 2-1 last weekend, as well as drawing 2-2 and losing 2-1 to Stromsgodset in the EL. Horsens on the other hand drew 1-1, but are probably the weakest side to come up, and looking at their pre-season games, as well as the back end of last season – they aren’t no ‘Spurs’ at the back.

A high scoring game is what I’m going for, with Sonderjyske to win 3-1.

Hammarby vs AIK: AIK Win + BTTS @ 7/2 (Swedish Allsvenskan, 1400 KO)

The day’s 2nd game see’s high flying AIK take on high scoring, low positioned Hammarby. Hammarby’s last 20 games have been BTTS, with nearly 75% going over 2.5 as well! In that, 9 losses and all BTTS as mentioned. The home side have scored 26 this season, but conceded an amazing 29, hence why the sit in the bottom 3.

AIK are decent in defence, but still concede nearly a goal a game on average, scoring around 1.5 per game. They are unbeaten in 14 in all comps, so confidence is riding high!

Given the facts, this should be good!

Termalica vs Cracovia: Cracovia Win + BTTS @ 15/4 (Polish Ekstraklasa, 1430 KO)

Another good looking battle here – both starting with a win last weekend, Cracovia winning 5-1!

They too like Sonderjyske are out of the Europa League. They are a high scoring side – well over 50 in the regulation season of 30 games, conceding around 45 as well. They have lost top scorer Rakels, but maintained their next two – Jendrisek and Cetnarski – who had 22 between them. Add to their prestigious talent in Kapustka – they have a team to be reckoned with.

I got Termalica mixed up with Zaglebie – who were the one who finished in the Europa League. Termalica finished 3rd bottom in the regular season and despite an opening day 2-0 win, Cracovia are the better team and with confidence sky high I think they should win.

Lillestrom vs Stromsgodset: Stromsgodset Win + BTTS @ 12/5 (Norwegian Tippeligaen, 1900 KO)

The final game see’s high scoring Stromsgodset travel to Lillestrom. A fact to start – the last 7 meetings have produced 6 wins for our backed team, with scores of 3-1, 2-1, 2-0, 2-1, 2-1 and 4-3. With 30 scored and 19 conceded – they are a team who have goals written all over their side. Lots of players contributing, and with Lillestrom’s record of 25 scored and 28 conceded – I like these odds!

Consider that the home team have also lost 8 of their last 10 games, with 5 losses & BTTS.

Now, Stromsgodset are average away – but with Lillestrom’s weaknesses there for all to see, and confidence low, the away side could well steal a win, and nearly 2 and a half to 1!

My top double is Cracovia @ 15/4 and AIK @ 7/2 for a 20/1 bet.

The accumulator as mentioned pays around the 362/1 mark. Those who want something smaller – an accumulator with all four to just win is 30/1.

Best of luck
