After sitting in a dark room for 24 hours I have recovered from some shocking results this weekend. Cagliari dominated their game but failed to score a 2nd at home for only the 3rd time in 12 games this season at home. There was an early game in the Wimbledon game, then nothing else despite over 30 shots. Onto Sunday – the Spanish 2nd division game ended 0-0 (after having ended 6-3 and 3-3 in the previous two games) and then to top it off Real Madrid drew 1-1 with Betis, inexplicably. All in all a stinker and one of those that you want to cry at!
Today I have a good value double:
Fleetwood vs Walsall: Walsall Win @ 7/4 (League One, 1945 KO)
Walsall’s away form in the 15/16 season: Played 17, Won 10, Drawn 5, Lost 2.
Their away form is actually better than their home form. Always very close wins, often 1-0. Fleetwood are struggling in the league this season with 12 losses so far. Fairly decent at home, with 5 wins, 4 draws and 4 losses. Still believe that Walsall will sneak a narrow victory.
Maidenhead vs Whitehawk: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 10/11 (National League South, 1945 KO)
Maidenhead – 8 BTTS + Over 2.5 in their last 10 games. Last 4 games: 6-1, 4-4, 3-2, 3-2
Whitehawk – 7 BTTS + Over 2.5 in their last 10 away games. 9 BTTS in said 10 games.
Both of these score plenty. Both concede plenty. Last 3 meetings have ended 3-2, 2-0 and 4-3
This pays 4.25/1.
Best of luck
