Football Tips // 30.04.16 – European Leagues

With Kieron now covering the majority of English football, and myself going for no more than 2 tips per day – I have decided to stick with European football, especially with the Premier League so hard to predict – I had a lot of success there over the last 2 months but with only a few games to go I think it’s time to step away from it a little.

Yesterday was another 0/2, but I’m not sure how or why. Eibar dominated their game, but lost 2-0 to a team who had only 3 shots on target and 6 all game. They had well over 10 and dominated possession and pretty much all aspects of the game. In the other, Mlada Boleslav drew 1-1 with Jihlava – again, dominating the whole game but one lapse was all it took and they couldn’t find a winner. Still, 2 doubles winning this week – one more in the next 2 should mean anyone who backed each one will have come out with a healthy profit. If you had backed each so far, on an average £10 bet – you would have around £86 sitting in your account from the 2 wins (3.2/1 and 3.4/1), making up for the 3 losses meaning you would be around £35 (ish) up.

Anyway – onto my two tips for today:

Trapani vs Novara: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 5/4 (Serie B, 1400 KO)

I smell goals in this one – Trapani have 8 BTTS + Over 2.5’s in their last 10 games, whilst Novara have 5. Both are among the top scorers – but Trapani’s form means their Over 2.5 record at home is now 13/19! For an Italian team, that’s incredible! They have thrown themselves into the mix for a promotion spot, and certainly will feature in the playoffs. Novara are outside the P/O’s by a small margin – so should really be going for it at this stage. Last and only three meets have been 4-1, 3-1 and 2-1.

Bekescsaba vs Debrecen: Debrecen -1 Goal Handicap @ 13/10 (Hungarian NB1, 1530 KO)

This is the final game of the season in Hungary – and Debrecen need to win otherwise MTK Budapest could take their European place for next season – as they are just a point ahead, while they could also take 2nd from Videoton. They play an already relegated team that they beat 7-0 and 6-0 in their last three games (as well as 3-2) – all the motivation they need is there to be seen and I think they will try and put it to bed early.

The double pays just over 4/1.

Best of luck
