With the low risk accumulator posted, here is our medium risk acca for the weekend!
Most are around 1/1, with all four in great form and have good records against the teams they are playing – same as the last post – all kick off’s are on Saturday unless stated:
Ried vs Sturm Graz: Sturm Graz Win @ 11/10 (Austrian Bundesliga, 1730 KO)
These two could not have started so differently! Graz smashed Salzburg 3-1, while Ried lost 5-0 to Rapid Vienna.
The away side have added real quality over the summer – some very experienced players from leagues around Europe – Deni Alar has a great record and joins from Rapid, while Christian Schulz is an ex-Germany international. Sascha Horvath is a young exciting sensation – he has made plenty of apps for them at a very young age! Add in Roman Kienast, and you have a team that are capable of beating the best!
Ried had a bad start as mentioned – I can’t see them doing enough to get anything. Sturm have a great record against them – won 2 of last seasons’ 3 ties while in the last decade have won 80% of meetings.
Sundsvall vs Norrkoping: Norrkoping Win @ 21/20 (Swedish Allsvenskan, 1500 KO)
Norrkoping are in great form – 2nd in the league and just a point off Malmo. They have won the last four meetings – 1-0, 4-0, 3-1, 5-1.
Sundsvall started very well, but have tailed off of late and look very beatable. Norrkoping are out of European competition, so all eyes are on the league and they would preferably like to defend their hard earned title! The meeting in May was a 3-1 loss against the team they face today – so I can see similar happening.
Inter Turku vs HJK Helsinki: Helsinki Win @ 1/1 (Finnish Veikkausliiga, 1630 KO – Sunday)
This should be a good match! HJK are decent away from home – but not amazing. They have however won 7 of their last 10 games, inc Champions League qualifying games – while beat Inter 3-1 in their meeting in May. Inter Turku are on a poor streak – 7 losses in their last 10 games, with some serious goals conceded. HJK average around 1.8 goals per game, while Inter average around the same, but for conceding stats.
The away side boast some serious names – Anthony Annan, Taye Taiwo – two players who played in Europe’s top leagues! You then have Chidiebere, a loan striker from AC Milan, who has half a dozen goals in 17 games, and then Alfredo Morelos, who has 7 in 17. Add in Tanaka, Forsell and a young German international keeper in Thomas Dahne – a very good squad.
They were 5/1 to beat Goteborg in the week, and won 2-1. 1/1 tomorrow – should win!
Vitebsk vs FC Minsk: Minsk Win @ 6/5 (Belarusian Vysshaya Liga, 1600 KO – Sunday)
FC Minsk have a cracking record against Vitebsk – 3 wins on the spin in the last year, with 4-0, 3-2 and 1-0 the scores. They are better away from home than they are at home – 4 wins from 7, as opposed to 3 from 7. Vitebsk have been on a poor run – and are average at home with 4 losses in 6 games. They don’t concede many – rarely more than 2, but they struggle to score and there lies the problem – if you concede but can’t score, you’ve had it!
A relatively unknown league for many – but a game I feel offers great value!
This bet pays around 18/1, with my top double being:
- Norrkoping @ 1/1
- Sturm Graz @ 11/10
That pays around 3/1 as a nice Saturday double!
Best of luck
