Football Tips // Friday // Euro 2016 Qualifying

Morning all

Shocking day yesterday. Mainly bad luck – Wales had a goal disallowed that was perfectly fine, and won 1-0 – so that cost us. Croatia somehow dominated the entire game but drew 0-0 with Azerbaijan. Holland went down to 10 men within minute of their game with Iceland starting, while Norway DNB @ 13/8 won against Bulgaria, a 1-0 win.

Today I am sticking with corners – despite having Scotland to win in the preview I have found some prices on corners and they look amazing!

1. Scotland -1 Corner Handicap @ 5/4 vs Georgia (Group D, 1700 KO – NAP)

Scotland won this 9-3 in the previous meeting last year, and with Ireland playing Gibraltar they know a win is a must. They won 1-0, but know Georgia is a tough game. They may not look it, but they kept Germany down to just 2 goals and really pushed them. Because they will need to win to keep up, I can see a low scoring game with a winner coming in the 2nd half – and domination of possession with a fair amount of corners. Not expecting Georgia to get too many, so -1 looks good @ 5/4.

2. Germany -4 Corner Handicap @ 11/10 vs Poland (Group D, 1945 KO)

Germany get a load of corners at home. They often dominate from the off and have a lot of possession. In the previous 2 games against Poland they have failed to win but because of this they have been pushing for most of the game – and won 6-0 and 8-3, both of which -4 would have landed in. Poland get very few corners, losing 12-1 to Scotland and 9-1 to Ireland when away from home. Germany have been far from their best so far in this group – and are really needing to flex their muscle and pull away from the rest with at least 3 wins to guarantee a place automatically.

I would add a few more – but with international games being rather dodgy (as last night proved) I have stuck with two I believe are at least 85-90% certain to come in. If you cannot get corners markets, then for the NAP Scotland to win @ 1/1 is my next best.

If you do want an accumulator then two other bets I would suggest are Romania-Hungary Under 1.5 Goals @ 11/8 and Denmark-Albania BTTS @ 5/4 – but like mentioned those for me are a little risky. Albania have an outstanding chance to actually qualify for next summer, so that game could be very tight. Denmark are good at home too, although their last two meetings in the last couple of years have both been 1-1 draws. Romania and Hungary both have a grand total (scored and conceded) of 8 goals each in this group stage. Both low scorers, though previous history has shown it to be a high scorer. A potential 0-0’er – but not risking my double with it adding in.

Best of luck
