Morning all

Last night’s games did not go very well – Aalborg lost to a 5/1 shot in Odense, after dominating the game. Rotterdam and Strasbourg both won 2-1, while the last game was a 1-1 draw. Poor performances and slack defending the main issue!

Today – I have picked three from England and one in Portugal:

Man City -2 Goal Handicap @ 11/10 vs Aston Villa (1500 KO, Premier League)

City, at home – should really hammer home their superiority and win this one well. Villa know in their heart of hearts that they will be hard pushed to get anything against such a strong forward pack, but know the back four is penetrable. They played in the 4th round of the FA Cup and City won 4-0, away from home. At home in the past they have put 4’s and 5’s past this weak defence – and with a place in the top four under threat, they know this is a must win.

Solihull -1 Goal Handicap @ 5/4 vs Gainsborough (1500 KO, National League North)

Solihull have won 10/14 at home, while Gainsborough have lost 10/16 away. Very much a battle of two sides facing different prospects this season. They played just a couple of weeks ago, and Solihull won 6-1! That could have a bearing on this game, and for me the home side will have too much.

Sutton Utd -1 Goal Handicap @ 7/4 vs St Albans (1500 KO, National League South)

At home, St Albans are half decent, but look at their away form and they are abhorent. Unfortunately, they are playing at home today…

Anyway – Sutton are amazing at home. 8 wins in 14, while they have won 5 of their last 6 games away by -1 goal.

In the three meets in the last year and a bit, Sutton have won all three, winning 5-1, 2-1 and 4-2.

Porto B -1 Goal @ 6/5 vs Olhanense (Portuguese Segunda, 1500 KO) – NAP

Porto have an incredible home record this season, but have lost a couple of late. Still, it is W11/15 – which isn’t bad at all.

Olhanense have lost 10/16, conceding high numbers of goals and in their one and only meeting in Porto – Porto won 7-0. Earlier this season they also won 2-0 away.

It’s hard to pick a top tip out of these as the two Non-league games have the potential to be called off at this time of year, but then the Premier League is relatively hard to call, even at the best of time. I backed City -1 vs Villa away earlier this season and it ended 0-0. Due to Porto B’s excellent home form, coupled with their oppositions away form.

Top Tip: Porto B -1 @ 6/5

Double: Solihull -1 @ 5/4 & Sutton -1 @ 7/4 = 5/1

Accumulator: 28/1

Best of luck
