Football Tips // Low Risk Accumulator // 23-24.07.16

If you missed it, we posted an article on the updating of our betting system, and how we will be doing things this season – click here to view that…

So – the first of the new-system accumulators garnered 3 wins out of 4, with a bore-draw in the Tiraspol game the one that cost us dearly! This weekend, we have two accumulators – a 7.5/1 low risk and a 20/1 medium risk. This is the former, and for me is excellent value at the price stated!

All markets/prices have been taken from Bet365 – I’m not going to tell you to sign up to them, but their array of markets makes them the logical choice for us to price bets with. If you don’t have one with them, I’d suggest going for the nearest market, so with a Over 1.5 Team Goals bet, you could choose ‘Match Result’ instead, which in most cases is a slight drop in price but a good 2nd option.

Basel vs Sion: Basel Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 8/11 (Swiss Super League, 1500 KO – Sunday)

This is the only Sunday game in this weekend’s low risk accumulator, but one of the best in terms of value. Basel may have lost Embolo – but in all honesty he was a youngster who was given game time as a sub mainly, and wasn’t yet a fully fledged starter. Despite the loss, they have added Seydou Doumbia, who should be a cut above at this level, and Mohamed Enyonoussi from Molde, who scored 30 in 70 league games – so if anything they are stronger! They also have talented Dutch winger JP Boetius, who had 3 in 12 games since his move.

Basel have good record against Sion, and at home, with the new signings in mind as well as the remaining players – I believe they will win this and score 2/3 goals.

Radomlje vs O Ljubljana: Ljubljana HT-FT @ 5/6 (Slovenian Prva Liga, 1915 KO – Saturday)

Despite being 1/4 on to win the game, and despite the fact that Ljubljana won all four games against them last season – this bet is an amazing 5/6! Last season they mauled them every game, scoring 15 goals in multiples of 4 (in 3 games) and 3 in the other. HT-FT would have landed in 2/4, but given the strength of the away side, this is cracking value for me and can’t be missed out of this bet!

Esbjerg vs Copenhagen: Copenhagen Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 4/6 (Danish Superliga, 1600 KO – Saturday)

Copenhagen started with a 3-0 win over Lyngby, while Esbjerg lost 4-0 to Brondby. It’s a meet when there are normally a lot of goals – Copenhagen have won 6 of the last 7, scoring 2 or more in 5. Last season, they won 4-1, 2-1 and 2-1 – and given the defensive frailty of the home team, I fancy Copenhagen to continue their good start in both domestic and European competitions.

St Gallen vs Young Boys: BTTS @ 4/6 (Swiss Super League, 1900 KO – Saturday)

As much as I loathe the term as I’m asked for these types of bets all the time – but this is the banker in here that tops up the price nicely. BTTS is priced at around 4/6, and the last 8 meetings have gone that way, with last seasons’ 4 games ending 1-1, 2-1, 3-1 and 3-2.

The Swiss league is goal friendly – very poor defences leading to plenty of goals. Young Boys are very good on the front foot but concede far too many, while St Gallen always seem to grab a goal or two, but at the same time concede just as many.

As mentioned – 4 low risk bets, that I’m confident should win. I’m not going to go down the road of suggesting doubles etc.

Best of luck
