Tondela vs Benfica: Benfica -1 Goal Handicap @ 4/5 (Portuguese Primeira, 2030 KO)
Benfica are just ridiculous. They already won last seasons’ league with relative ease but have gone out and signed Andre Carillo from Lisbon, Andrija Zivkovic, Andre Horta, Luka Jovic, Oscar Benitez and Fraco Cervi. Alex Grimaldo has also signed up – a very promising left back from Barcelona.
They face a Tondela side that conceded fairly heavily last season, and lost 4-0 and 4-1 to Benfica. They conceded over 50 in 34 games, but struggled against the bigger teams. With all the new signings – I think they will struggle to keep Benfica out!
Gefle vs Norrkoping: Norrkoping Win @ 7/10 (Swedish Allsvenskan, 1500 KO)
Norrkoping are the form team of the Swedish league! They have scored 40 goals in 18 games, while conceding just 17. Gefle are cannon fodder at the bottom of the table along with Falkenbergs – conceding 39 goals and scoring 16. In their last four meetings, over the last 2 seasons – Norrkoping have won 2-0, 4-1, 2-1 and 2-1, but are in much better form this season having gone into it as Champions. Decent value considering, but this game will feature in a later bet as the handicaps offer tremendous value!
Hull vs Leicester: Leicester Win Either Half @ 1/2 (12:30 KO, Premier League)
Champions Leicester face off against newly promoted, manager less Hull. Naturally Leicester – much like last season will be a real threat in front of goal with talisman Jamie Vardy and providing they can keep the services of Riyad Mahrez – and have added Ahmed Musa who looks a real threat.
Hull had the second strongest defence in the Championship last season conceding only 35 goals. They managed to find the net on 69 occasion with the third most ‘goals for’ tally. Leicester conceded 36 goals last year and scored the third highest amount of goals in the league with 68. Leicester should be licking their lips at this opportunity, and with the uncertainty currently facing Hull I think Leicester could win this with a considerable margin.
Burton vs Bristol City: BTTS @ 3/4 (15:00 KO, English Championship)
Newly promoted Burton play their first home game after a narrow 4-3 defeat last week to Nottingham Forest. Last season in League One Burton held the best defensive record by some way conceding only 37 goals, their goals for tally was also quite considerably low for a team finishing second in the league with only 57 scored. As was shown in their opener against Nottingham Forest the promotion to the Championship has brought out a different Burton side having been involved in a seven goal thriller.
Bristol City did well as a promoted side to finish 18th and avoid relegation by some 12 points. They left a lot to be desired defensively conceding 71 times, but scored an impressive 54 goals. Bristol City should be confident heading into this and come off the back of a 2-1 victory against another newly promoted side in Wigan, but they struggle defensively and Burton notching three goals in their first Championship game shows they are not the team we were used to seeing last season.

Best of luck for the weekend!
