It was finally looking decent yesterday – Innsbruck 1-0 up, Creteil-Nancy going over 2.5 quite early as well as Emmen-Volendam starting brightly – but yet again it all went horribly wrong. Croatian game ended 0-0 after what was the dullest game I’ve seen in a while, Innsbruck lost their first away game of the season while the Volendam game was the first in 10 years at their ground vs Emmen to stay under 3.5, ending 2-0.
Moving onto today – 2 games from abroad, 2 from our shores as well as a 30/1 Win + BTTS double:
1. Nice Win @ 6/5 vs GFCO Ajaccio (Ligue 1, 1900 KO – NAP)
Nice are the in-form team of Europe really – 4 wins on the spin and 17 scored, topping the scoring charts with 24 goals this season, and even PSG can’t match that! Ben Arfa has been a revelation, while his team-mates are equally brilliant. They face a GFCO side that have not won all season (D3, L7) and have taken 2 points from 12 at home against a side who have scored 15 in 5 away games, including 4 in each of the last two.
2. Debrecen Win @ 5/4 vs Puskas Academy (Hungarian OTP Bank Liga, 1430 KO)
This was an annoyingly hard choice – there was another game in the league – Paks vs Bekescaba – that was equally good value, however I’ve plumped for this one. Debrecen have won five of their last 7 games, with 3/5 away from home. Puskas Academy have not won since mid-August, with 4 losses and 3 draws since, and 3 of those in their last 5 games. Debrecen have a good record in this tie, winning 3 of the last 5 meets and 3 in a row away from home. With there being a huge 15 point gap to Ferencvaros, they need to win these sort of games if they ever want to even contemplate catching up!
3. Walsall Win @ 13/10 vs Colchester (League One, 1500 KO)
Walsall have the best away record in League One – with 5 wins and 2 draws in 7, conceding just two goals. They face a Colchester side who have lost 3 of their last 5 games, conceding 5 and 4 to Wigan and Shrewsbury respectively. They are decent at home, one loss in 7, but have mainly faced poorer opposition, with Gillingham being the only top side they have faced. Should be a low scorer, possibly 1/2-0 to Walsall.
4. Gillingham Win @ 5/4 vs Southend (League One, 1500 KO)
Opposite to the above – Gillingham have the best home record in the league, with 6 wins and a draw from 7 games – with 19 scored. Southend have lost their last 2 away games, but still have only won twice in 7 away. With confidence high, and Southend coming off the back of a 3-0 romping at Chesterfield, The Gills to win looks great value at 5/4!
As an Accumulator, this pays roughly 25/1 with Bet365 – while my preferred double would be Nice @ 6/5 & Gillingham @ 5/4 in a 4/1 double.
Win + BTTS Double:
1. Reading Win + BTTS @ 10/3 vs Fulham (1330 KO, Championship)
Reading are in great form, and with two strikers in such form as well it helps – Nick Blackman has 9 this season, while Orlando Sa has 4. They have won four of their last 5 games, and 4 games this season in this manner, including 2 of their last 5 away games. Fulham have a couple of in-form players – Ross McCormack has 5 this season while Tom Cairney has 3, and despite not having a good record in this, they have conceded 17 in their 12 games, and scored 18 – and with Blackman & Co in the mood – I can see a 2/3-1 result today.
2. Morecambe Win + BTTS @ 6/1 vs Leyton Orient (1500 KO, League Two)
Morecambe have won 4 of their last 5 games, with results of 3-1, 5-2 and 3-2 (as well as a 1-0) – one of the top scorers in the league this season. Leyton Orient started so well, but like mine – their form has gone down the toilet – with one win in their last 10 games, including 4 losses + BTTS, and 5 draws – 9 games in 10 going BTTS. Both home and away they are struggling. With Tom Barkhuizen, Alan Goodall, Paul Mullin and Shaun Miller all chipping in with 5-6 goals each this season, and only Jay Simpson with 11 for Leyton Orient – you get the feeling they are a one-man team, reliant on Simpson’s goals. 3/1 for the win anyway – this looks great value!
As mentioned – 30/1 for that (well, 29.7…close enough) – with two separate kickoff’s to make it interesting.
If you missed it yesterday – I posted something on the Bet365 ‘Risk Free’ inplay offer for all customers, which I have found a method of making £20-40 profit no matter the result (Man Utd vs Man City) – which you can see here – there is also a Ladbrokes offer of a £25 refund if both teams score, but I have not fully looked into that.
We also posted an article on Matched Betting – so if you missed it, catchup by clicking here
Best of luck!
