Football Tips // NAP-Accumulator // 05.03.16

This didn’t fare so well last weekend, and with Amit having a nightmare start to his tipping with us, we have decided to do more trialling with him before he carries on. We have tips from Scott, Kieron and Will today – with a selection each, and then an additional one from them to make up a four-fold:

Porto B -1 Goal @ 6/5 vs Olhanense (Portuguese Segunda, 1500 KO) – Will

Porto have an incredible home record this season, but have lost a couple of late. Still, it is W11/15 – which isn’t bad at all.

Olhanense have lost 10/16, conceding high numbers of goals and in their one and only meeting in Porto – Porto won 7-0. Earlier this season they also won 2-0 away.

Wigan Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 8/11 vs Peterborough (1500 KO, English League 1) – Scott

Based on current form this is easily my NAP! Wigan are the form team in the division, whereas Peterborough are in awful form – losing their last 5, and 7 of their last 8. They have conceded 14 goals in their last 7 away league matches and are sliding down the table fast! Wigan, on the other hand sit in 2nd position currently, and have been very consistent all season. In their last 6 home games in the league they have scored 15 goals and surpassed 2+ goals in 5 out of these 6 games. I’m hoping Will Grigg has his shooting boots on today, because if he has, then Wigan will comfortably land this selection.

Preston vs Brighton @ 23/20 (1500 KO, English Championship) – Kieron

Another match where both teams hold BTTS %’s above 50 with both sides on 53%, Preston can still reach the play off places currently sitting tenth and Brighton will have a keen eye on top spot currently 4th two points behind Burnley.

Preston will feel a lot more confident heading into than anyone would have predicted at the start of the season! They sit seven points off the play offs with 33 goals scored and 32 conceded. Brighton as to be expected have scored a powerful 49 goals this term but perhaps more surprisingly have conceded 34. Preston have scored in all of their previous five matches and conceded in four. Brighton have scored in four of their previous five and conceded in two.

Brighton only conceding twice in their last five matches could be of a concern but this certainly does not reflect the season as a whole. Also worth noting Preston have only failed to score at home on three occasions.

Man City -2 Goal Handicap @ 11/10 vs Aston Villa (1500 KO, Premier League) – Will

To complete, I have added what I think to be the best other bet.

City, at home – should really hammer home their superiority and win this one well. Villa know in their heart of hearts that they will be hard pushed to get anything against such a strong forward pack, but know the back four is penetrable. They played in the 4th round of the FA Cup and City won 4-0, away from home. At home in the past they have put 4’s and 5’s past this weak defence – and with a place in the top four under threat, they know this is a must win
