Football Tips // Thursday // Europa League

Morning all

After yesterday’s poor showing, I have decided to just go with my top tip today – the NAP. Celtic -1 corner, or -2 (depending on what time you got on) both won, but they gave us a scare after being 6-0 up on corners, it went to 6-3 for the last 25 minutes.

I could easily pick 3/4 games that I am 70% confident will win, but that didn’t work yesterday so despite having a field day in the first leg of this round last week, today will be a quiet one in comparison. Here is my top bet:

1. Copenhagen Win Both Halves @ 6/5 vs Newtown (1845 KO, NAP)

Copenhagen won 2-0 in the first leg, but utterly dominated and could have scored about 10 in all honesty. These two meeting would be the equivelent of Chelsea playing Macclesfield Town in the FA Cup – that’s the vast casom in terms of quality. The Danish side had over 20 shots to Newtowns’ 4, while had 13 unanswered corners. Just one goal will finish the tie, and then the Danes will want to impress their manager. Even with a decent team out last week they creamed the Welsh side – so this week I’m expecting much of the same. They won both halves 1-0 last week, which is a good omen.

If you are looking for others, the likes of Trnava, Ferencvaros and Legia Warsaw look decent value at Evens or better – but like mentioned I’m not going to add those in to my tips today. If they win now I will be annoyed but I have changed my mind a few too many times in recent weeks and it’s always gone wrong, so sticking with just the NAP for tonight.

Best of luck
