Yesterday went oh so well right until the last game – BTTS landed in the Portuguese game, DNB came into play as it was a draw so it was voided, the NAP of Watford Over 1.5 Team Goals landed @ 11/10 but then Bayern went and screwed it up, losing 3-1 to Porto – no doubt they will bang in about 3 in 2 weeks time…
Today is all Europa League, and all 20:05 Kick Offs:
1. Dynamo Kyiv-Fiorentina Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/4 (NAP)
Kyiv average 2.2 goals per game so far in their 10 Europa League games, and concede around a goal per game (9) – 31 goals in total in 10 games, so an average of 3.1 goals per game. 19 of those 31 goals have come at home, with 5 wins from 5, scoring 2+ on all 5 occasions! Fiorentina have scored 18 in their 10 games, while conceding just 6 – including impressive wins over Tottenham and Roma. Of their 5 away games, they are unbeaten with 4 wins and a draw with 3 of the 5 games going over 2.5 goals. This is my favourite tip for today!
2. Sevilla-Zenit BTTS @ Evens
Sevilla are in very good form in this competition – Won all 5 home games so far, while struggling on the road – if Zenit get anything like even a 1-0 loss or better, they will fancy their chances! Sevilla have had 5 BTTS games in their 10 games so far, including the last 3 games against more challenging opposition. Zenit dropped into the Europa from the Champions League, and have won 3 games to nil, and lost 1 game to nil (PSV and Torino faced so far). They have not really been challenged, and I can see Sevilla more than doing that! Evens a cracking price.
3. Club BruggeOver 1.5 Team Goals @ 11/8 vs Dnipro
Brugge entered this tournament in the preliminary rounds – and in 14 games have won 11 and drawn 3 – so yet to taste defeat. In those 14 games – 35 goals – and of those they have scored 28 – an average of 2 goals per game. When playing slightly better opposition like Besiktas, and Helsinki, they have conceded. Dnipro should put up a stern fight – just 22 goals in 12 games after dropping out of the Champions League Qualifying rounds. Their away form in this is poor – one win in 6 attempts, with the last 4 games ending 2-1, 2-1, 2-1 and 2-2. At every point they have just about scraped through by the skin of their teeth – this time could be one too far, especially with Brugge’ home form being so fantastic!
4. Wolfsburg Win + Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/8 vs Napoli
Wolfsburg have had an up and down campaign. Losses to Everton, twice along with draws against Sporting and Lille – sort of either side of 6 wins, two impressively against Inter. 5 of their 6 wins have come with 2.5 or more goals, and with Napoli being in cracking form in this competition too, it should make for a good game – however the defining factor for me is Napoli’s poor away form in the Europa League. 2 wins, 2 draws and a loss – only scoring on two occasions against Slovan Bratislava and Trabzonspor – hardly giants of European football. They may bag one, but Wolfsburg should get 2/3 if form is followed.
This pays around 23/1 with William Hill!
Best of luck,
