Football Tips // Wednesday

Good morning one and all

Yesterday’s NAP landed after 76 minutes – a nice 21/20 winner. Fenerbache-Shakhtar was a dud, nearly 30 shots and still 0-0!

Today I have two tips, both again in the Champions League qualifying section. Bar these, nothing really on today football wise:

1. Ajax Win @ 9/5 vs Rapid Vienna (2005 KO – NAP)

With the likes of Jasper Cillessen, Joel Veltman, Ricardo van Rhijn, Anwar El Ghazi and plenty more – I really like Ajax to win this game. This is the first time in a while they have not been in the group stage, with PSV winning the title last season. Rapid have a potent attack with Rober Beric leading the line, but I feel Ajax will have too much quality when it comes down to it.

2. Steaua Bucharest-Partizan Over 2.5 Goals @ 7/5 (1930 KO)

Steaua are actually worse at home than away – much could be put down to the added fan pressure. They have conceded in their last 4 home games, including a 3-2 loss to Trencin in the previous round. Partizan are in excellent form, and looking to reach the group stage for the first time in a while. This should be a cracking game! BTTS + Over 2.5 tempting but with this being a high intensity game, and it being so important, red cards are a possibility and 3-0 can happen with a red card. Odds are not that much different, so going with the less risky option

Together as a double this pays over 5/1, and looks good value to me!
Don’t forget to sign up to our Fantasy Football league – £100 in prizes come next May and all paid in cash…well a bank transfer, but you know. 10 days or so to go now – so get your teams in!

Best of luck
