Midweek Preview + Top 10 Picks

Morning all

Pretty much a full set of fixtures in England on either Tuesday or Wednesday – and from that we have picked 10 games we like:

1. Burton Win @ 5/6 vs AFC Wimbledon

In great form at home, we are expecting them to do well today. 5 wins from 5 when playing at home, conceded very few. Facing Wimbledon, who are also in decent nick away from home, we still think they will win – with a smudge of difficulty.

2. Oxford Win @ 17/10 vs Accrington

Oxford have won 2 and drawn 3 away from home, while Accrington sit near the foot of the table. The home side have lost 3/5 both at home and overall.

3. Forest Green Win @ 5/6 vs Alfreton

Forest Green are in great form! 5 wins from 5 overall, with 2 wins from 5 away. Alfreton are pretty awful – 5 losses from their last 5 games, and 3 losses from 5 at home.

4. Northampton Win @ 13/10 vs Hartlepool

Northampton are the inform side of League 2. 5 wins from their last 5, and in decent form away from home. Hartlepool’s form has improved recently, but it’s very average, a win or two with mainly losses.

5. Bristol City Win @ 8/15 vs Port Vale

City have won 4/5 at home, with a draw. Port Vale have lost 3 out of 5 away – in pretty average form.

6. Middlesbrough @ 8/15 vs Blackpool

Boro have won 4/5 overall, and W2/D2 away from home. Blackpool’s form has improved recently – but 3 losses from 5 overall makes me think Boro will beat them, especially with their front line.

7. Eastleigh Win @ 21/20 vs Southport

Eastleigh are not in amazing form, but are picking up a few wins away from home recently. Southport have lost both 3/5 overall and at home. Pretty awful form. The other two games in both sets of form have been draws

8. Luton Win @ 23/20 vs York

Luton are in great form, winning most games to nil. Both overall and home form looks good. York have lost 4/5 overall, and 3/5 away. Amazing odds considering!

9. Swansea Win @ 21/10 vs WBA

Swansea have been rather hit and miss recently. Won 3-0 in the previous meeting, and with WBA a bit all over the place, Berahino in trouble. Should be a one goal game, Swansea beating Southampton recently too. Both in average form, but at 2/1 we fancy Swansea.

10. Fenerbache Win @ Evens vs Rizespor

Fener are in a very good spell of form! Beaten Rizespor in 4 of the last 5 meetings. Won 3 and drawn 2 of their last 5. BTTS has happened in all of the last 5, but Rizespor have won just once in their last 5, and that was in the Cup against a lower division side.
