Weekend Preview // Top 10 Tips

Evening all!

Apologies this is much later than usual – sleep was indeed needed. This weekend’s 10 picks are spread about Europe – Italy, Spain, Turkey, England, Hungary, Czech Republic and Scotland. Here’s the form – just picking 4 teams with 2nd markets – my favourites. A lot of these games could well be very close so finding a 2nd market is difficult.

1. Heerenveen Win @ 13/10 vs Excelsior (Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 6/5)

Heerenveen’s form overall is pretty sharp – 4 wins from 6 with a draw and loss thrown in. Away from home – it reads W2, D2, L2 – but some tough opposition in there. Excelsior have drawn 4/6 games at home, but overall they are poor – 3 draws and 3 losses.

2. Leganes Win @ 7/5 vs Alcorcon

This side are pretty much the best in Spain’s 2nd tier at the moment, form wise. Won 5/6 at home recently, with an overall record of W4/L2. Alcorcon sit fairly low down the table, and with their form it does not surprise me. Not won in 6 games overall, and have lost 3/6 away from home, with 2 draws.

3. Videoton Win @ 7/5 vs Gyori (Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 8/5)

Very good form – W4/D2 overall, W5/D1 away from home. Gyori have won 3, drawn 2 and lost 1 overall, but won just one of 6 games at home. Very good price!

4. Southampton Win @ 5/4 vs WBA

Southampton’s away form is very good. Won 4/6 in total, and overall won 3/6. Had some very hard games in this period too – WBA will not be a pushover, but their quality should shine through – WBA’s form reads W2/D3/L1 overall, and W3/L3 at home.

5. Carpi Win @ 6/5 vs Pro Vercelli (Win + Under 2.5 Goals @ 16/5)

Vercelli are amongst the worst in Serie B, and have not won in 6 games (that we have studied) – D3/L3. At home, W2/D2/L2 – but some pretty easy games against teams around them involved in those. Carpi are top of the league, and are unbeaten in 6 away – with 3 wins and 3 draws.

6. Sparta Prague Win @ 11/20 vs Banik Ostrava

They are in the first couple of weeks after the winter break – but have started well. Their form is W5/L1 overall, and W4/D1/L1 away from home. Banik’s overall form is average to poor – Lost 4/6, but at home they are decent with 3 wins from 6. They have also won 3/5 meetings away from home in the last couple of years.

7. Fenerbache Win @ 8/11 vs Konyaspor (-1 Goal @ 9/5)

Probably the value bet of the weekend! A great price considering Fener are in great form – 4 wins from 6 overall and 5 wins and a draw in their last 6 away games. They have also won 4/5 meetings. Konyaspor’s form is dreadful 3 losses from 6 overall, and 4 losses in 6 at home. -1 Goal @ 9/5 is a great bet!

8. Hibernian Win @ 1/2 vs Alloa

Hibs have won 4/6 with 2 draws overall, and won 4/6 away from home, with a draw/loss apiece. Alloa have lost 4/6 at home and are winless in those games.  They have lost 3/6 games overall with just one win. In their three meetings this season, they have won 2.

9. Debrecen Win @ 4/5 vs Puskas Academy

Both sides are in good form. Debrecen have won 5/6 overall with a draw. Away, they have won 3/6. Puskas Academy have won 5/6 at home, but have lost 2/6 overall – and 4/5 games against Debrecen.

10. Genoa Win @ 1/2 vs Parma

This game may or may not take place – depends on Parma’s financial situation. Bookies are giving odds on it, so they may well be playing. Their form is awful – lost 5/6 away and overall, with a draw. Genoa are in a decent patch of form – not as good as its been but only 1 loss in 6 overall and home. If its played – they should win.

Tips are coming up later this evening! Unfortunately our Tip for today is down – Lok Zagreb dominated but only managed a draw in yet another game we backed that had a red card! Seriously, I can honestly say there will be between 3-5 reds in these games, always happens!
