The last few weekends there have been a lot of shocks that even we didn’t see coming, and didn’t do any Shocks picks. This weekend we have had a little more time and are getting things ready early, and have done some digging and found 7 picks between 15/4 and 10/1. Here they are:
Vitesse 16/5 vs Twente
Vitesse have dropped down to 4th recently after a poor run, but with their flock of Chelsea stars that includes Lucas Piazon and Christian Atsu are a danger to all teams. Twente have won 4 and drew 2 of the last 6 home games, and Vitesse have won 4 and drawn 2 of their last 6 away games. 16/5 is a good price for a potential shock.
Heerenveen 13/2 vs Ajax
Ajax have been struggling of late, drawing some games they should really win, and struggling to wins against some poor teams. Heerenveen were poor before the winter break but have come back looking in good nick. 13/2 is a great price.
Livorno 15/4 vs Cagliari
Livorno and Cagliari are both in pretty bad form, but Livorno have a knack of getting results when it is not expected. 15/4 is a decent price for what could be a 50/50 game.
Ajaccio 8/1 vs Lyon
Lyon have really lost the knack of winning. Thursday night they lost 2-1 to Lens, who are in the 3rd Division. Despite Ajaccio’s poor form, they could just take Lyon by surprise.
Mons 10/1 vs Anderlecht
Since coming back from the winter break – Anderlecht have been dreadful. They have not won yet. Mons are bottom, and nobody expects them to get a thing. 10/1 a great price for Anderlecht to continue their slump.
Kasimpasa 9/2 vs Fenerbache
Kasimpasa have not won in 6, but seem to have a way to not lose. Fener are unbeaten in the last 6 at home, but Kasimpasa are unbeaten in 6 away games. Near 5/1 is a top price.
Everton 4/1 vs Swansea
Everton have been iffy lately, with the injuries taking their toll. Swansea have sacked Laudrup, and will be looking to get back on their feet. 4/1 is a great price.
That is our 7 picks for shocks this weekend. Good luck!
