Morning all! A lovely day for Champions League Qualifiers, with plenty of value about. Things in these games are often sorted in the first leg, with the stronger teams scoring 3/4 goals and putting the tie to bed, with the 2nd leg being impossible to predict as those who have gone all out to win the tie in the first leg putting out weaker teams. Here’s our look at the first leg:
- Lille/Celtic/Besiktas/Nicosia (All Draw No Bet) – 11/1
- Steaua Bucharest-Aktobe BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals/Feyenoord-Besiktas BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals – 5.6/1
- Zenit -1 Goal/Salzburg Win + BTTS – 6.5/1
Feyenoord have lost a good deal of their best players – Martins Indi, Janmaat and Pelle have gone, with more set to follow. Besiktas have signed Demba Ba and generally have a good squad anyway. They are 12/5, but to be safe – 6/4 DNB is value. Celtic play Legia – that could be a tight game away from home, with Celtic looking to take an away goal back to the home leg. Salzburg are a very good team but Karabagh are in brilliant form – definitely fancy BTTS, but Salzburg to ultimately take the game. Zenit are 4/9 away to AEL – and should win, depending on if their World Cup stars start, which they should. -1 @ 7/5 is a very good price!
The DNB 4 fold is a great price, considering three of the four are the stronger team and Besiktas being underrated a little. If you are not familiar with a DNB bet, here’s how it works – if the game ends as a draw, the game is voided and the winnings are reduced. If it’s a single bet, your stake is refunded in full.
Best of luck
