We were thinking the other day just how we would structure our accumulator tips during the World Cup, and it struck me the easiest way it to split the games into three gameweeks, like you would in the Premier League. The first set of games go from 12th June to 17th, with Russia vs Korea. Here are our match result and alternate accumulators for the first set of games:
- Brazil/Chile/Uruguay/France/Belgium/Argentina – 6.7/1
- Colombia/Switzerland/Russia/Nigeria – 22/1
- Brazil -1/France -1/Chile -1/Colombia Race to 2 – 25/1
- Nigeria Win to Nil/Spain Win to Nil/Switzerland Win Either Half/Belgium -1 – 38/1
When it comes to World Cup footy there are more favourites due to the player difference between some nations. For example France are 1/3 vs Honduras – and on its own is not worth betting on. My personal 4 Fold with £50 on is Brazil, Uruguay, Chile and France – 2.7/1! Pays £185, and all four should win. The Alternate Acca’s are something a bit different – Nigeria Win to Nil against Iran, who rarely attack and play a kick and chase game is 21/10 – so plenty of value. Equally – Colombia Race to 2 Goals vs Greece is 8/5, and with their attacking talent is a real possibility – I am 80% sure they will do that and win the tip.
