5/8 on the BTTS front yesterday – with a red card in the Deportivo game late last night costing us I think. Also managed to pick one of only 2 non-BTTS games in the Premier League, staggeringly. Graz-Neustadt and Caen-Lens both @ 5/6 were two of the top picks, both ending with 5 or more goals in!
Today I have just the four picks – but all around evens or above, so very good value:
1. Lyon-Nantes @ 11/10
Since Nantes regained their Ligue 1 status a few years ago, all 4 league games since have been BTTS – Lyon have issues at the back sometimes, and this season the meetings in league and cup have both gone the way we want. Cracking value! Lyon have the form, Nantes have struggled recently, but we still think they could bag one.
2. Fiorentina-Torino @ 10/11
4 of the last 5 meetings have ended BTTS, and 3/5 when playing in Florence. Both also played in the Europa League, and both often struggle afterwards. Torino in the better form, but it should be a high scorer!
3. Bilbao-Vallecano @ 19/20
In their last 5 games playing in Bilbao’s home ground – all 5 have gone BTTS. Overall, 4/5. EL action again for Bilbao, so consider that.
4. Tenerife-Valladolid @ 11/10
This game is usually a high scoring affair. In 3 of the last 5 games, Over 3.5 Goals has landed. In terms of BTTS – 4 of the last 5 games between the two have ended that way.
This pays around 15/1 in total. Some of these odds are very overpriced considering recent games between the two – but all the better for us!
We have a post coming up at around 3pm today looking at the future of Argentina’s national side, and how three young men could well mould that into something very successful, as well as a host of other talent they have coming through the ranks of Europe’s elite clubs.
