While doing this I am currently enjoying the England-NZ game. The first day of tips in the Copa America were mixed, with corners lacking and a goal short – thanks to Sanchez’ greediness at the end. Cards was a lot better, with over 4.5 landing @ 6/5. In the next round of fixtures, we have 3 games – all look rather interesting!
1. Mexico -1 Goal @ 6/5 vs Bolivia (0030 KO)
Bolivia have not won outside of La Paz since the 90’s – and in their last 15 games away from home have lost 10, conceding 41. Mexico are in decent form, winning 6 of the last 10 – 5 in a row at home. In the 10 losses for the Bolivians, 7 have been by -1 goal. Although this Mexico is a mix of experience and youth, I think they will put a couple past them, even winning to nil. They have won 7 in a row against this side, including a 1-0 win in Bolivia last year.
2. Uruguay-Jamaica BTTS @ 11/8 (2000 KO)
This is a risky one, but with Jamaica’s pace and Uruguay’s lack of spark, odds of just 1/4 are very low. No value that I can find that is really safe. Uruguay have won 7 of their last 10 games, while Jamaica have won 5/10, against differing standards of opposition. They are pretty much a wildcard having been invited to this competition. Both have a mixed record of BTTS, but at the top level anything can happen, just look at Costa Rica last summer!
3. Argentina Win + Over 2.5 Goals @ 21/20 (2230 KO) (NAP)
These two have played 3 times in recent years, and won all three (5-2, 3-1 and 4-2) and are looking for their first Copa America title since the 90’s. They have an outstanding chance with an excellent squad, and should pepper this ageing Paraguay side, who somehow reached the final last time despite not winning a game in 90 minutes (no extra time in this competition).
Even if Paraguay get a goal, I still fully expect Argentina to bag 2/3 goals. This is my value/NAP for the day!
Best of luck
