Nice 13/1 winner yesterday. Preston banged home a penalty in the last 10 minutes against 9 man Havant & Waterlooville. The Danish game went BTTS within 30 minutes, and then after that was goaless. Dusseldorf won 1-0, despite all the stats going against them (only had 4/5 shots all game compared to 1860 Munich, who had in excess of 15) – so DNB was good to have there, as a safety net. Nancy went behind briefly to Creteil, but scored in the closing stages of the first half and two more in the 2nd to win 3-1. Preston scored 2 first half, and like mentioned bagged a penalty after Havant had two men sent off.
Today is the last of the action before the international break – we have a little Conference football, with some JP Trophy thrown in there too. Staying away from that however, just a straight 8/1 four fold BTTS bet in the Conference, which is so often full of goals:
Grimsby-Halifax @ 4/5
Eastleigh-Forest Green @ 8/11
Gateshead-Lincoln @ 4/7
Alfreton-Bristol Rovers @ 7/10
Grimsby and Halifax are two of the form teams at the moment. Along with Barnet and Gateshead, they sit in the top 4. This doesn’t look good, BTTS wise – both have kept numerous clean sheets in the last 5, but all against weaker opposition. With them being well matched, I would fancy this to happen. Forest Green-Eastleigh have a good record of BTTS – ended 2-2 previously this season, and both recently have been scoring and conceding a’plenty. Both in good form too, and are just below the top 6. Gateshead-Lincoln should be full of goals, Lincoln’s last 5 games have been BTTS, Gateshead’s BTTS record is not so great recently, but expect this game to be so. Bristol Rovers have fallen from form recently, having lost a few. Alfreton’s form has picked up a little, with two or three home wins in the last 5. Would have backed Bristol, but looking at form BTTS is the best bet.
Best of luck
