A day of mixed fortune yesterday – Sweden-Ireland BTTS won @ 11/10, but Belgium were very poor and lost 2-0 to Italy in what was the game I was most looking forward to so far!
Today there is just two games in Austria vs Hungary and Portugal vs Iceland:
Austria vs Hungary: Austria -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 7/5 (Group F, 1700 KO)
Austria were one of the form teams of Euro 2016 Qualifying, with 9 wins from 10. They are my outside shot for the tournament @ 40/1, and in a game against potentially the most toothless attack in the competition, I think the likes of Junuzovic, Alaba and Sabitzer should have fun. 2-3 goals scored is something along what I expect here.
Portugal vs Iceland: Over 10.5 Corners @ 1/1 (Group F, 2000 KO)
This game is a tough one to call – and for that reason I’m going for the corners market. The jist of things so far in Euro 2016 has been the smaller teams frustrating the bigger ones for long periods, such as the Czech’s yesterday – which has led to many corners. Iceland are very good at the back, and have a few great finishers going forward. Counter attack will be the style and I believe Portugal will force 6-8 corners, while Iceland will get 3-5.
There were 41 corners in yesterday’s games, with 17, 10 and 14 – and a total of 109 in the 10 games so far at an average of 10.9 per game. Not brilliantly relevant but something I believe the game will follow.
Double pays 4/1.
Best of luck
