With the previous three games done and dusted – we move to the last game, and the host nation in action against one of the lowest ranked teams to make it this far! Iceland smashed England, out-thought and out-manoevered them, for a famous 2-1 win. France came from behind to beat Ireland, and without a couple of players this time could be fragile to say the least!
France vs Iceland: BTTS @ 6/4 (2000 KO)
France have looked shaky at the back so far – conceding to Romania, very nearly to Albania and also to Ireland. Adil Rami is suspended, as is N’golo Kante. The likely replacements are Mangala and someone like Sissoko – both not as strong/good as the others. Iceland proved tonight they can mix it up – playing England off the park without looking too nervy. Their long throws into the box will cause mayhem, and like Ireland, they will give the hosts a real run for their money!
Despite most of their players being from lower leagues around Europe, they perform as a team and were fantastic – no England fan can deny they deserved it! BTTS is quite a high price, but they’ve been such prices all competition long. Iceland will turn up hopefully and give France a run for their money!
Best of luck
