2/4 yesterday, with Zenit somehow drawing 0-0 with one of the worst sides in the Russian league. Bourg Peronnas-Auxerre ended 1-1, a goal short of the tip we offered. The other two won, Wolfsubrg 2-1 (BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals) and Maidstone 2-1 (Win) – so an average day
Today I have tried to go with mainly home teams in good form with opposition in not so great form:
1. St Truiden-Standard Liege BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 1/1 (Belgian Pro League, NAP – 1330 KO)
Liege have been awful this season, conceding 28 goals in 13 games. They scored 17, giving a total of 45 and a record of 10 over 2.5’s in 13. BTTS has landed in 12/13, while a combo has won on 10 occasions. St Truiden’s record does not look amazing, but at home they have had 6 BTTS in 16 league matches, with 4 going over 2.5 as well. They are very strong there, while Liege also have a record of 5/6 away from home, and concede a lot when out of their home ground. Surely a 6th BTTS + Over 2.5 in a row for Standard?
2. Jonkopings -1 Goal Handicap @ 21/20 vs Utsikens (Swedish Suprettan, 1330 KO)
Jonkopings have been very good at home this season and a win today shall take them up as Champions. They have won 11/14 at home, and covered the handicap 7 times. Utsikens have been awful away, with 10 losses in 14 games and the handicap covered 5 times, with 33 conceded. With two heavy scorers, I fancy them to bag 3-4 goals and go up in style
3. Southampton -1 Goal Handicap @ 6/4 vs Bournemouth (Premier League, 1600 KO)
Southampton are very good at home, and to be fair good away too. They have beaten the likes of Chelsea, while their form has picked up since their exit from Europe. 3-1 and 3-0 wins over Swansea and Norwich make for good reading against a team, their local rivals – who have conceded 14 in 5 away games, and with Sadio Mane back, Dusan Tadic looking good and Graziano Pelle looking in good nick I fancy them to bang in 2-3 goals and win to nil. The injuries have taken their toll on the Cherries and I think it could be a long old season.
4. Austria Vienna-Mattersburg BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 1/1 (Austrian Bundesliga, 1530 KO)
Both are in fantastic form, with Mattersburg winning 8 of their last 10 home games, and Vienna winning a great deal of their away games and both scoring 2’s, 3’s and 4’s against opponents. Recent meets have been very high scoring, with scores of 5-1, 4-0, 4-0, 3-1 and 4-2, all to Austria. This time both are in great form and should both score. Mattersburg’s record is 6 in their last 10 home, while Vienna is more 4/10 away. Very much a gut feeling on this!
Acca pays 17.5/1, with my preferred double being 1 & 4 @ 3/1.
Best of luck
