With Thursday’s games yet to kick off as I write these – let’s hope both win!
Moving onto Friday – usually I’d only like to tip of 2-3 games max, but there is so much value on offer I’m going for an accumulator with a mix of options. Two home games, two away – with form teams taking on some very average ones!
Liefering vs FAC Wien: Liefering -1 Goal Handicap @ 6/5 (Austrian Erste, 1730 KO – NAP)
Liefering have the 2nd best home record in the league, with 8 wins from 12 games. They score for fun, often putting 4-5 goals past even some of the best opposition when in front of their own fans. FAC are the worst side in the league, both home and away. Winless at home, and losing 9/13 away. Last time they met, it ended 4-1, while the last four games overall have ended 5-1, 4-1, 1-0 and 3-1.
1/2 match odds, but I feel that the handicaps are where the value is at!
Helmond vs Sparta Rotterdam: Sparta Rotterdam -1.5 Goal Asian Handicap @ 7/5 (Dutch Erste, 1900 KO)
At the moment, the regular handicap is not priced, but a -1.5 asian handicap is basically the same thing.
Sparta are top of the league and look set to return to the Eredivisie, while Helmond are pretty average, even at home. They have lost 7/15 games, including the last three in a row, while conceding more than a goal per game in what is a goal-crazy league. Rotterdam know a win here could pretty much secure the one automatic promotion spot, with them being 9 points clear with 5 to play. Their away record reads 8 wins in 15, with 4 in a row before their latest loss.
The last two meetings have ended in SR wins, 2-1 at home and 5-1 away. I fancy them to put a score on Helmond and go up in style!
Karabukspor vs 1461 Trabzon:Karabukspor -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 21/20 (Turkish PTT.1 Lig, 1700 KO)
The home side here are in incredible form! 1 loss in 14, with 9 wins. They beat Besiktas only a few weeks ago, and in general look solid favourites to go up as Adanaspor have tougher games coming up.
Back to this game – Trabzon played them in the Cup in December and actually beat them twice, but with 7 losses and 2 draws in their last 10 games other than that win, I don’t think it will come into it, if anything spurring on the home side to take revenge! Trabzon have lost 8 of their 13 away games and I don’t think this will be any different. Normal handicaps are not available at the moment, but a safety net of the -1 Asian Handicap is priced at just above evens in what I think is a cracking bet!
Anzhi vs Rostov: Rostov Win @ 5/4 (Russian Premier League, 1700 KO)
This is a case of Top vs Bottom. Rostov are doing Russian equivalent of Leicester. Top of the table with only 6-7 games left, but only a point clear of CSKA. Their form is pretty good, 5 wins and a draw from 10 away games – but the real stat here is that Anzhi are winless at home with 4 draws and 7 losses. This will be probably their easiest chance to pick up 3 points between now and the end of the season so I think they will take it!
NAP: Liefering -1 Goal Handicap @ 6/5
Double: Sparta Rotterdam -1.5 Asian Handicap @ 7/5 + Rostov Win @ 5/4 = 4.5/1
Accumulator: All Four @ 25/1
Best of luck
