A case of oh so close on the weekend – 3 out of 4 on the 180/1 accumulator, with wins of 2/1, 11/5 and 7/2. Kieron was one goal off 5 winners in his 6 tips, but the BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals tip ended 1-1 after being that way after 18 minutes. Not so great for myself – Rosenborg -1 Asian Handicap was sailing in at 4-0, but they conceded 3 somehow…
Moving onto today – two tips, one in Iceland and the other in Germany:
Throttur vs Stjarnan: Stjarnan Score Both Halves @ 1/1 (Icelandic Premier Division, 2015 KO – NAP)
Throttur have started amazingly badly – losing 10 of their first 13 games and conceding 34! In their last 7 games, they have lost 7, conceded over 20 and in both halves on 5 of the 7 occasions! Stjarnan on the other hand are doing well, sitting in 3rd and on a 4 game winning run! They beat Throttur 6-0 in their previous meeting this season – scoring 3 in each half.
Given form of both sides – I think this is a value bet!
Stuttgart vs St Pauli: Stuttgart -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 6/4 (German Bundesliga II, 1930 KO )
Stuttgart were relegated from the Bundesliga last season after a very poor season – think of them as the German version of Newcastle or Villa. They retained most of their best players, and added a few too. The big one is Simon Terodde – 47 goals in 71 games for Bochum at the same level, while Daniel Ginzcek is an up and coming started who should feature for the main German team at some point!
Add in Mitchell Langerak, Kevin Grosskreutz, Emiliano Insua and Kaminski – a new central defender from Lech Poznan – and I think they should go straight back up! St Pauli had a decent season – but have hit a horrid patch of form just before the season starts. Marvin Ducksch is a good signing on their part – he scored a tonne of goals for Dortmund II’s
Overall – I think the home side will win, minimum. The Asian Handicap boosts the price to around 6/4.
The double pays around 4/1.
Best of luck!
