Despite a lot of goals tonight – we didn’t touch any of it. France conceding first to Bulgaria was a killer for many – the expectant win to nil done and dusted, while a range of first goalscorer bets also torpedo’d by the penalty.
The 2nd lot of four games in the low risk, high price accumulator are on, as well as a few others. There is a decent double available in my eyes however that will make the afternoon interesting!
Armenia vs Romania: Romania Win @ 11/10 (1700 KO)
Romania are significantly stronger than Armenia, who are without Mkhitaryan – and as well as that Movsisyan having been ruled out too, their goal-threat is reduced hugely, as both of them are in the top three Armenian scorers in their history! Romania are solid at the back, and have the likes of Alibec, Andone and Torje going forward, not to mention Bogdan Stanciu – I really think they will win this one without too many issue.
Slovenia vs Slovakia: BTTS @ 5/4 (1945 KO)
As mentioned previously in Wednesday’s preview – both of these sides are battling for 2nd spot, along with Scotland – for the playoffs. No-one is expected to really challenge England for the top spot, a sentiment I echo. Both have good attacking players, and with Martin Skrtel missing, defensively Slovakia will be weaker. Should be a good game, and one with both scoring!
As a double – this pays around the 3.8/1 mark and is a terrific little duo of bets!
Best of luck!
