A bit of a disappointing weekend – all four games looked set to land, but Scunthorpe conceded late on to blow the handicap, while two of the three BTTS + Over 2.5’s fell a goal short. Newport-Stevenage obliged, but the rest…
Going to go for a maximum of a NAP and a next best during the next few weeks, with an accumulator at the weekend. It’s all well and good trying to land accumulators, but lets get the day to day success rates a little better with what I think are some value NAP’s:
Barrow vs Southport: Barrow -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 21/20 (National League, 1945 KO – NAP)
Barrow are in excellent home form – winning 8 of 12, and drawing the other four. Scoring plenty, not conceding many – a perfect combo for this market! A one-goal win results in a void, while a two goal victory margin results in a win – a regular handicap would mean the former would be a loss, so the added safety more than makes up for the small drop in price. Southport are in poor away form, losing 9 of 11 and conceding 30. Despite the FA Cup disappointment, I can only see a decent Barrow win.
Eastleigh vs Forest Green: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/10 (National League, 1945 KO)
My next best for today is this game – one that seems to promise so many goals! Forest Green have had some high scoring games of late, 5-1 on the weekend and 5-5 the weekend before. Eastleigh are no mugs themselves, but their form especially at home has taken a downward spiral of late – they are still scoring, but losing more and more. This market looks perfect for the game – both are conceding, somewhat heavily at times, but both still scoring.
The double pays just over 3/1, while the NAP of Barrow – especially at home – is a great looking single bet!
Best of luck
