1/2 again – Derby with their poorest home performance for some time against struggling Reading, which was disappointing as the NUFC-MUFC game went BTTS before HT!
Same two games for today’s double that were picked in the Acca yesterday:
Swansea vs Sunderland: BTTS @ 1/1 (1945 KO, Premier League)
This is a bit of a relegation 6 pointer. Sunderland win and they will reach rivals Newcastle, while if Swansea win they will pull further away from trouble. Both scored but lost in the FA Cup, in differing circumstances. Sunderland opened the scoring but lost 3-1 to Arsenal, while Swansea opened the scoring but lost 3-2 to Oxford! Both will be fairly low but see this as a chance to grab 3 points.
Swansea have just 4 BTTS games at home this season, while Sunderland have 6 in 10 (7 in 11 inc the FA Cup) and have had 4 BTTS away from home in a row. Despite the lack of Swansea goals I still think this is an excellent bet!
Tottenham vs Leicester: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 13/10 (1945 KO – Premier League)
This is a repeat of Sunday’s FA Cup tie that ended 2-2. With the likes of Kane, Alli and Vertonghen returning for Spurs, and Drinkwater, Mahrez and possibly Vardy returning for Leicester – it should be another good game, with more chance of goals. Okazaki should really start as he caused Spurs a lot of problems, while someone with a bit better quality than Chadli might see a better performance from Spurs – Lamela springs to mind!
Spurs are very good at home but always concede one it seems. Leicester have scored in 90% of their away games, but have issues keeping a clean sheet – just 2 away all season. I fancy a very similar game to Sunday.
Best of luck
