Morning all! The weekend is upon us again, and even with the very cold weather the football looks to have survived and is mostly on – I don’t think I’ve seen a postponement yet which is great news! Four games, three match results and one BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals which make a 25/1 accumulator:
Fleetwood vs Bristol Rovers: Fleetwood Win @ 8/5 (League One, 1500 KO)
High Value: Fleetwood + Over 2.5 @ 3/1
Fleetwood are in fine form at home this season, winning 8/13, and losing just one! Very good defensively, and scoring a decent amount of goals in the process. Rovers are also great at home, but on the road – 4 losses in a row at the moment, and 6 in 12 this season. They are the classic ‘great at home, poor away’ team. A Fleetwood win looks good @ 8/5.
Northampton vs Scunthorpe: Scunthorpe Win @ 5/4 (League One, 1500 KO)
High Value: Scunthorpe -1 Goal Handicap @ 10/3
Northampton took a hiding last week, to the extent that their manager made the infamous ‘men against girls’ comment that got him in a lot of trouble with the media! Scunthorpe are 2nd and are looking to stay there, with Bolton breathing down their collective necks – and against a side in fairly poor form and a manager looking over his shoulder – a perfect chance to take 3 points.
Newport vs Colchester: Colchester Win @ 6/5 (League Two, 1500 KO)
High Value: Colchester -1 Goal Handicap @ 3/1
This is a case of form vs no form. Colchester have won 6 on the spin and 8 in their last 10, while Newport have lost 8 on the spin in the league and not won in 11 games! Colchester’s away form has been decent, with the blips coming against Portsmouth, Doncaster and Carlisle – no shame there since they are three of the top 4 sides really! Newport seem to be losing to anybody and everybody – 6/5 is very good value and I’d be tempting by -1 or win + over 2.5 for a big acca!
Bury vs Peterborough: Peterborough Win @ 21/20 (League One, 1500 KO)
High Value: Peterborough Win + BTTS @ 5/2
Another case of one side in poor form, the other in good form. Bury have lost 8 on the spin at home, but have scored plenty, conceding even more though. Peterborough have won 3 of their last 4 away, and have lost just two in their last 10 – to Chelsea last weekend, and one other – not so bad really. 21/20 looks good value.
As an accumulator, this pays around 25/1, while if you go for the high value selections, a little over 240/1 – both with Bet365.
Best of luck!
