The last two weeks has been excruciating! Since Tuesday’s last set of boring games, there has barely been anything on – meaning no tips and myself looking more and more at the weekends action hoping it would come around even quicker…
Some games around tonight – with one pick in the Championship and one each in Germany and Holland:
Cardiff vs Bristol City: Bristol City Win @ 17/10 (Championship, 1945 KO)
City look good value here – 5th in the league, in good form and in Tammy Abraham they have a striker in very good form – 8/5 to score any time! Cardiff however are only off the bottom due to Rotherham being equally, if not poorer than they. 4 losses from 5 home games – against a team who put 4 past Fulham in their last away game – I think a 5th loss is on it’s way.
Almere vs Jong PSV: Over 3.5 Goals @ 6/5 (Dutch Erste, 1900 KO)
The last 5 times these two have met, there have been goals galore. The home side won 7-0 in April, while the four preceding results have been 4-3, 2-2, 3-1 and 1-0. PSV are unbeaten this time however, and top of the league, so they should have more of a say in how this game plays out. Almere have scored 17 and conceded 17 in just 9 games, so average 3.8 goals per game. PSV’s average is 3.2, but given the Almere record – it’s a good bet.
Sonnenhof vs Paderborn: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/5 (German Bundesliga III, 1730)
Paderborn have 9 over 2.5’s in their opening 10 games, while Sonnenhof have a 60-40 record. Both average over 3 goals per game in their fixtures, and with Paderborn very weak at the back but scoring plenty up front – this should be a great game full of goals!
