1/1 on Friday with Holland scoring the two goals required to win the Over 1.5 Team Goals bet after 50 minutes, largely thanks to a double from the returning Arjen Robben.
With little on over the weekend, the main accumulator will be today – I have picked four games and considered all team news – some teams have a player or two away, but I have left those out. Here’s my four picks for today:
1. Gillingham-Bury BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 1/1 (League One, 1500 KO)
These two are relatively high scorers. Gillingham struggle to keep a clean sheet, with at least the last 7 games at home being BTTS, and one in 10 overall with a clean sheet. Bury started the season on fire (in the case of this market) – they score for fun at times, but concede plenty – 6 BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals in their last 10 away games, with 28 scored and 24 conceded in 16 games overall. Gillingham have scored 31 and conceded 18, so over a goal per game for both scored and conceded this season.
2. Peterborough Win @ 1/1 vs Fleetwood (League One, 1500 KO – NAP)
Peterborough were a favourite to do well this season, but with their manager unable to extract the potential, a new man has come in and results have picked up. They are pretty free scoring – at least two in each of their last 4 home games, while they face a Fleetwood side that have lost 8 of their last 10 away games and conceded scores of goals! This could be a very long afternoon for them!
3. Plymouth Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 6/5 vs York (League Two, 1500 KO)
Plymouth are in great form! Top of the league, and good away from home with 6 wins in 9 matches in all competitions. In all 6 wins, they have scored 2 and on the flip side – York have conceded 2+ in 7 of their last 10 games, 26 in 16 games in the league overall. 1st vs 22nd – you never know when away sides are going to screw up bets – we’ve had teams blow 2/3 goal leads before so going safer with Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 6/5.
4. Luton-Barnet BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/10 (League Two, 1500 KO)
Luton have failed to keep a clean sheet in 8 of 10 home games, while Barnet have scored in 8 of their 10 away games (all competitions). The away side also beat high flying Oxford. They are in good form, winning 4 of their last 5 games and boast a record of 6 wins and a draw in their last 10 games – scoring plenty in the process. Luton games often win in this market quickly – with attacking strengths as well as defensive frailties. Great price!
This pays roughly 18/1 with Bet365, with all markets available as I type! My preferred double is Peterborough + Plymouth bets @ 3.5/1.
Best of luck
