A relatively successful first few days back – 1/2 on the Champions League qualifiers, and 2/2 last night on the Europa League qualifiers!
Although we are 3 weeks off the big kick off in the Football League in England, league’s around Europe are starting to get underway – Poland and Croatia two of note, while we have Scandinavian football continuing after a short break for the Euro’s.
Lots on offer for today, and infact over the weekend too!
Slovan Belupo vs Zapresic: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/4 (Croatian HNL, 1900 KO)
Croatian football is notoriously goal-free sometimes, but certain teams have good track records against each other, and this is one of them!
They played a total of 5 games last season – 4 league and a friendly. The scores were 4-1, 3-1 and 4-0 (Belupo) while Zapresic won the others 2-1 and 2-1. 5 games, 19 goals – 4 BTTS + Over 2.5’s, with all five going over 2.5!
This one should be good!
Odense vs Silkeborg: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 7/5 (Danish Superliga, 1915 KO – NAP)
The 2nd game for today, and indeed the NAP – is this Danish game.
Silkeborg were promoted last season, and in their final 11 away games, won 9 and draw 1/lost 1 – scoring 2 in most games, and will be full of confidence. In those 11, 6 were BTTS + Over 2.5. High scorers, conceded plenty too.
On the other side – Odense, a team who scored and conceded more than 50 each in a 36 game season. One of those who could score 2 and still be on the receiving end of a thumping.
Both of these games are heavily stacked in favour of the home side odds wise, but all teams have weaknesses in the back four/five – and with it being early in the season in Croatia and Denmark, the odds are a lot of guesswork. Similar can be said of betting on match results – not a great idea so early as anything can happen really – just look at the European results over the last few days – the likes of Levadia Tallinn were 5/1 to win last night and did so fairly easily!
This pays around 5/1 as a double.
Best of luck
