Football Tips // 15.11.16

It’s been an extremely quiet period on the site, with tips being at a minimum due to the fact that international football is hard to call and domestic football has been very slow too, though 3/4 on Saturday was decent enough.

On the European side, its friendlies today – but in South America, the games continue. All fairly late, Brazil playing early tomorrow morning in fact – but two tips that look good value:

Argentina vs Colombia: BTTS @ 11/8 (2330 KO)

This usually throws up a good game – and with both seemingly out of form (Argentina losing two in a row to Brazil and Paraguay) and Colombia being their usual unpredictable selves – sitting higher up the table however – makes this game all the more tense. Argentina really need the win otherwise they could be potentially not going to Russia in 18 months time! They have conceded 8 in their last 4 qualifying games, including 2 each to Peru and Venezuela.

Peru vs Brazil: Brazil -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 11/10 (0215 KO, Wednesday)

Despite Peru’s recent resurgence – they still sit in the bottom couple of the qualifying table. Bar the recent 3 wins, they would have been only cushioned from the bottom spot by a useless Bolivia side thanks to their conceding record of 18 goals. Brazil – 26 scored, just 7 conceded in 11 games – they look more the team of yesteryear than the recent World Cup debacle. 8/11 is decent odds for the win, but on the handicaps they look very good value @ 11/10 with the Asian Handicap.

A double including these two pays around the 4/1 mark, and for me are both good value bets.

Best of luck
