Again, the Champions League is on this evening, but betting wise nothing looks to be doing in those. Last night’s duo both ended 0-0, with tonight’s two unlikely to finish as such – I still don’t like them. Odds-wise it’s too one-sided. Barca are 1/4 against Arsenal while Bayern are 2/5 vs Juventus.
One let-down again yesterday – Brighton Won 1-0 @ 1/1, but then Solihull’s 80% home win ratio dropped a few after they lost 2-1 to FC United of Manchester. Today – a trio of good value Over 2.5 goals picks from Scotland, Russia and Portugal:
St Johnstone vs Ross County: Over 2.5 Goals @ 21/20 (SPL, 1945 KO)
Both of these have a near 70% record for this market this season! Here are the stats:
St Johnstone: 18/29 Overall, 9/15 Home.
Ross County: 17/29 Overall, 5/14 Away. (At home, their record is amazing!)
Last 5 meets have ended 3-2, 1-1, 1-0, 2-1 and 2-1. Ross looking good away however, winning 3 of their last 5 games, while St Johnstone seem to leak and score goals at a steady pace.
Volgar Astrakhan vs Arsenal Tula: Over 2.5 Goals @ 1/1 (Russian 1st Division, 1530 KO)
The Russian leagues are pretty good for goals, though picking the right ones is tough. Zenit II’s are the best, with an astounding record. Today however, the value looks to be in this one. Stats:
Arsenal Tula: 16/25 Overall, 8/11 Away
Volgar Astrakhan: 12/25 Overall, 6/13 Home.
Volgar seem very good at home, but leak the odd goal whilst scoring 2 on average. Arsenal on the other hand can score 2-3 goals in an away match, but all the same can concede 2-3 per game, but score themselves.
Porto B vs Chaves: Over 2.5 Goals @ 21/20 (Portuguese Segunda, 1500 KO)
The earliest of all today’s games. Porto B are great at home, but have gone through a slump recently. Their overall record is pretty much 66%+, with 12/17 at home. Their last four home games have been some of the only ones to stay under 2.5 goals all season for them! Chaves on the other hand are a decent side and one that have done well against Porto of late. Anyway – full stats:
Porto B: 21/35 Overall, 12/17 Home.
Chaves: 13/35 Overall, 8/17 Away.
Chaves record isn’t amazing, but around 50% away from home is very good. Looking at the last 5 meets with Porto – 2-2, 2-2, 0-0, 2-1 and 2-1. Chaves have not lost in 5 against them, and given the form will have every confidence.
All three look to be excellent bets. I know stats can mean nothing sometimes, but all three have good track records of over 2.5 goals, and all teams have a good record of the same!
Best of luck
