A case of so close once again – the first game in Derby -1 A/H won with ease, 4-0 while the 2nd game of Benfica Win to Nil failed, the team in question never looking like conceding but equally failed to score from 18 attempts on goal with 65% possession.
Today there is very little other than Cup games on, but with a full card in the Serbian league and one game in Poland, there is enough for a nice looking 5/1 double:
Javor vs Red Star Belgrade (AKA Crvena Zvezda): Red Star Belgrade -1.5 Goal Asian Handicap @ 11/8 (Serbian Super League, 1400 KO)
Different sites go by different names – but Red Star are in amazing form. 19 wins and 2 draws this season, scoring at least 2 in most if not all games – 62 goals so far! The 1.5 Asian handicap is basically a regular -1 goal handicap – need to win by 2 or it’s dead. No safety net. In their form (scored 7 the other day!) I think they will blow a decent Javor side out of the water. Won 4 of the last 5 meetings, while if you are a bit sceptical of this bet, over 2.5 is also 5/4 for a little less risk. Either way, I think RSB will score at least two and win comfortably!
Termalica B-B vs Jagiellonia: Jagiellona Win @ 7/4 (Polish Ekstraklasa, 1700 KO – NAP)
Termalica are in pretty awful form – no win in their last 6 home games, and plenty conceded. Jagiellona started well away from home before going on a barren run, but have won their last two against good opposition and with a 2-0 win in the bag over this team already this season, I think their overall quality will overcome the newly promoted side
Like mentioned – double is around 5/1 (well, 5.2/1) but for me a solid bet considering there are two away sides included.
All the best!
