Not a great deal of luck over the weekend – Monaco, Madrid, Jagiellonia and Torino all struggling against weak opposition. Dortmund, Juventus and Spurs all obliged, but the other four all either just won or drew.

Easter Monday football today – I’ve picked out four games, just under Evens that I feel should win. A mixture of Championship to the Conference:

Reading vs Rotherham: Reading -1 Goal Handicap @ 10/11 (Championship, 1500 KO)

Reading have the 2nd best home record in the league – and face the worst away record. Rotherham have lost 20 out of 21 away games, and at 4/11 to win and the best part of evens on the handicaps – this looks fab value!

Brighton vs Wigan: Brighton -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 17/20 (Championship, 1500 KO)

Brighton are near to securing the Championship title – one more slip from Newcastle will all but award them a well deserved title that has been 3 years in the making. Wigan have been poor all season and look set to go down, having lost many of their away games. Brighton tend to win to nil, but too often 1-0 for a normal handicap to seem logical. The asian handicap is the good looking bet for this one.

Chester vs Woking: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 10/11 (National League, 1500 KO)

This is one Ive found in previous weeks – Woking, a team with a 95% record for over 2.5 goals in away games, with that number of games going into the twenties now! Chester have a very poor home record – having lost 6 in a row. These two’s last four meetings have all been BTTS + Over 2.5 – 3-1, 2-1, 5-2 and 3-2, so I’m very much expecting goals from two of the worst defences in the division!

Derby vs Huddersfield: BTTS @ 5/6 (Championship, 1700 KO)

Derby and Huddersfield are two of the league’s best at times, but all too often are undermined by their unpredictable tendencies. Derby are unbeaten in about half a dozen games at home, but still concede 2’s and 3’s, while Huddersfield were rocking it into the Premier League at one stage, but incidents like 2-0 and 4-0 losses away from home to Bristol City and Nottingham Forest, two of the leagues worst defences – have left them in 3rd and at huge risk of being take out by the dangers of Leeds or Reading in the playoffs. BTTS looks good in this one – given three of their previous 5 have ended in such a manner, with results like 4-4 and 3-2 giving good reason to this.

This as a four-fold pays in the region of 11/1 thanks to all four being quite close to even money.

Best of luck
