Just a treble from me this week – 3 games based in the English leagues:
Two in the Premier League, one in the Championship:
West Brom vs Arsenal: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/5 (12:30 KO, Premier League)
Fantastic season for West Brom thus far sitting eighth in the table, but they do come into this one off the back of two losses to Everton and Crystal Palace. Before their previous two losses West Brom had taken 11 points from a possible 15. Arsenal are a team under pressure from the stands and Arsene Wenger’s days are seemingly numbered. Arsenal have only taken 6 points from their last five matches, losing to Liverpool, Chelsea and Watford. Throughout this poor run of form for the Gunners through their goal scoring has remained consistent throughout, failing to score only twice all season the last time coming 18 matches ago back in October. West Brom themselves have managed 36 goals in total this season, they have however failed to score on nine occasions which is somewhat concerning although only four of those came at home and included; United, City, and a defensively strong Middlesbrough. There is also positive in the fact Arsenal have only kept three clean sheets away from home all season.
Stoke vs Chelsea: Chelsea -1 Goal Handicap @ 7/4 (15:00 KO, Premier League)
Chelsea show absolutely no sign of slowing down or giving a single point back to the chasing pack regarding the title, they face off against a Stoke side who are currently ninth and in fairness are not in a bad run of form taking seven points from their last five matches. Stoke surprisingly based on previous years have struggled defensively conceding 40 goals – more than any other team in the top half of the table. They couldn’t ask for a tougher test based on that information facing off against Chelsea who are top, clear by ten points and the second highest scorers in the league. Stoke only two matches ago were demolished 4-0 by Chelsea’s closest rivals Tottenham, and Should be expected to get a similar treatment from Chelsea in this one.
Fulham vs Wolves: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 21/20 (15:00 KO, Championship)
Again with Fulham this week, arguably the most exciting side in the Championship currently. Fulham are the second highest scorers in the league with 65 goals – second only to top side Newcastle. For a side so in control in terms of attacking prowess though Fulham are far from impenetrable in terms of defending having conceded 44 goals this term. Fulham’s opposition Wolves are incredibly frustrating from a betting point of view, extremely inconsistent as far as match results go, last time out they turned around the game against Brentford late on but the game before could only muster a 1-0 win via a penalty against bottom placed Rotherham. Slightly more consistent for Wolves though is there goal scoring record; they have found the net on 43 occasions and in recent matches have only failed to score against Newcastle and very defensive minded sides in Wigan and Ipswich.
The treble pays near 9/1.
Best of luck
