After a very promising start to all of yesterday’s games, only two came in. The two that didn’t – Sevilla failed to win for a 3rd game in a row at home after winning 17 in a row, and Portuguesa failed to score in a 2-0 loss, which they dominated fully!
Today – a tip each from Will and Sam, with the latter a 1am KO on Tuesday morning:
Melgar vs Garcilaso Over 2.5 Goals @ 1/1 (Peruvian Primera, 0100 KO – Tuesday)
Melgar can’t buy a win after a 13 game winless streak in all competitions! They were a very solid team last season so I can only think being involved in the copa libertadore isn’t helping their cause! They tend to score in a majority of their games but unfortunately concede just as many! 3/4 of their home games have seen over 2.5, with 6 goals scored and 8 conceded in that time. Their last 5 home games in the league read, 3-2, 2-1,2-3, 2-2, 1-1.
Garcilaso are enjoying a fairly decent start to the season, with just 2 defeats from 10 games. Away from home 4/5 of their games have seen over 2.5 this season, scoring 7 but also conceding 11! Their last 5 games on the road read, 2-1, 1-3, 2-2, 5-0, 1-1. Away from home is where the problem lies as they are a little bit inconsistent to say the least! I can see both teams scoring quite comfortably here and both will be going for the win for different reasons!
Dijon vs Paris FC: Dijon Win to Nil @ 13/10 (Ligue 2, 1900 KO)
Dijon are very good at home, especially at the back! In their last 8 home games, they have kept 6 clean sheet, including 4 win to nils. Paris FC have struggled all season and form wise, away – are awful. 2nd worst in the league, and with Dijon hoping for promotion this is an excellent chance to go 2 points clear at the top.
As mentioned – Paris are awful. 3 wins all season, including 17 draws and 13 losses. 2nd vs bottom of the league – for me Dijon really should win this easily. They won it 3-0 in the corresponding fixture, and despite struggled infront of goals of late, they should find it against such a poor team.
Double pays around the 4/1 mark.
Best of luck
