So so close to another double yesterday – Villarreal vs Monaco BTTS landing easily @ 6/5, while the Ferencvaros bet looked set to land with ease after the away side scored in the opening 20 minutes, and dominated from there-on in – but somehow couldn’t find another despite a good 15-20 shots and over 70% possession (and over 10 corners!). It was similar to the Salzburg game, which in the end actually cost us a 23/1 accumulator from the Champions League tips posted – 3/4 the final result of the four tips.
Today I have picked out a value double, and a 30/1 double that I like the look of:
Austria Vienna vs Rosenborg: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/10 (1800 KO, Europa League)
Once again the Norwegian Champs are involved in my tips – but because they are a damn good side & 2/1 vs a fairly average Austria Vienna is amazing value! They are in good form, and with in-form hitman Christian Gytkjaer banging in the goals I really fancy a high scorer between the two. He has hit 15 goals in 23 games so far this season – including 7 in his last 6, which included a double and a hattrick!
As well as him, you have the likes of Helland and Lanley on the wings scoring a few, and add in Bakenga and Rashani both scoring off the bench in multiple games. Although not quite in as sparking form – Vienna have started the season well, with quite a few different scorers and a much younger squad overall. As mentioned I think this will be a high scoring game as both have plenty going forward but often questionable at the back – for example Rosenborg have won 10 of their last 15 games, 7 of which adding BTTS.
The second bet is Rosenborg Win + BTTS @ 9/2
Slavia Prague vs Anderlecht: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/4 (1800 KO, Europa League)
Slavia had a good season in their last campaign, and have added so so well to their squad over the summer!. Mick Van Buuren has a record of 18 in 68 for Esbjerg, Gino van Hessel scored 23 in 47 for Trencin, Josef Husbauer scored 32 in 97 for Sparta before a failed loan move to Germany ended with him moving to their rivals. Lastly, Jaroslav Mihalik scored 24 in 97 for Zilina from the wing. Add in Milan Skoda, who has played in Slavia’s colours for around 4 years – 39 in 115 games.
Anderlecht have had a good start to the season and also added well. Stefano Okaka replaced Mitrovic and scored 15 in 36 in his first season. They also added Diego Capel, Alex Chipciu, Sofiane Hanni (27 in 74 for Mechelen) and Lukasz Teodorczyk (10 in 24 for Kyiv, 25 in 50 for Poznan) – all very good players, experienced in the Champions League in some cases. Add in Youri Tielemans, Dennis Praet (who may be off to Sampdoria), Idrissa Sylla and Franck Acheampong – they have a fast paced attack, with goalscoring support from midfield.
Both teams are lacking somewhat in defence – so I’m thinking this will be a high scorer!
Anderlecht Win + BTTS @ 9/2 completes the 30/1 double.
Once again I fancy Gytkjaer A/T + Rosenborg Win – but can’t find a price for it. In his form, he’s worth backing and at 2/1 his price A/T will be incredible!
AZ + BTTS @ 7/2 was very tempting – it turns the 30/1 double into a 150/1 treble – but with Vojvodina in great form, it may be a risk too far for my liking.
Best of luck for the day!
