Yet another day of annoying under performances from backed teams – Chelsea could only manage the one, voiding the asian handicap bet, Newcastle conceded – knackering the win to nil and Millwall didn’t find the net for the first time in god knows how long away from home. Stevenage-Barnet BTTS + Over 2.5 was the only win @ 11/10.
Just two tips today – one from Italy and one in England:
Man City vs Arsenal: Under 4.5 Cards @ 6/5 (PL, 1600 KO)
Both of these teams are ones that like to play football, and baring the odd altercation tend to stay away from any sort of trouble. Their last few games have had 4 or less cards, and baring the Chelsea game for City, their behaviour of late hasn’t been too bad. Bar the odd game against Southampton, their last 10 home games have only yielded 2/3 games of over 4.5 cards. Arsenal have had a few games against rivals, and then a few against teams like Sunderland who pick up bookings for fun, so their overall amount in their last 10 away games is higher, but against another side who put football before poor tackles (don’t forget no Fernandinho, Mertesacker etc – often two walking bookings) – I think it will be a fairly clean game.
Genoa vs Palermo: Genoa Win + Over 2.5 Goals @ 7/5 (Serie A, 1945 KO)
One of two evening games in Italy is this – a team who are flying, scoring plenty and conceding few (even beating Juventus 3-1 at home) against a team languishing near the foot of the table. Palermo however have scored in nearly every away game, but have still lost most of them. A win to nil is risky because of this, while a handicap is equally fraught with danger because Palermo’s knack of scoring the one goal – meaning a 2-1 could be likely. The best of both worlds is this bet – Genoa could easily win 3-0, while as mentioned a 2-1 is fairly likely.
Best of luck!
